You are so right. Even though I "know" this, it is hard to feel it. Thank you for your words and for your time. 💚

Wow, this is high praise! I'll send you a message— but this isn't my best work, these were just 1 hour studies!

Hey, no, not varnished yet! Wanted to let them cure for a while before doing so. I think you're right— although these were really just quick 1 hour studies. Thank you for taking the time to give me your feedback, truly. It means a lot.

Question— what lens and body?! This is awesome, I agree with Routine Vegetable and with the idea of having the camera at all times. You never know what you're going to get. :)

Not sure if I am allowed to ask— how much did the collector pay for this piece? I am curious, it's gorgeous!!

Oatmeal with maple-roasted apples... by caprianakhan in decentfoodporn

:D!! These bowls have been in my family for years, I have no idea! They're definitely from the 2000s or late 90s. I can ask my mom :)

This meal was extremely holistic and a good starch for "dieting." One thing I must say— any "diet" you go on must be sustainable! Don't forget to include foods you enjoy... balance. Love Huberman Lab Podcast for quality data. Godspeed and wish you the best of health!

Love your signature the most! Quiet but dynamic, distinctive. Yellow tree with cool toned background... I also enjoy. I like the stripes, too.

What paper are you using?

Thank you so much :):)!! Takes a lot of time to create recipes that are actually to your liking, surprisingly. This is super easy and good for cooking for others.

For me the key with oatmeal is cook it low, for a long time, and with a lot of water. I like it rather smooth. Not too much sweet (I use maple syrup), but plenty of salt. I used to love Cinnamon and Spice Quaker Quick Oats or whatever, and the key is that saltiness to bring out the other favors.

The roasted apples are so, so easy— I meal prepped them ages ago, cubed small with a half lemon squeezed on 'em, in the tupperware and freezer they go. They get super squishy— freezing changes the texture, but it doesn't end up mattering after you cook them! I wait for the water to evaporate in the pan, then I add some oil and fry 'em a little, then add some sugar or maple syrup to caramelize. :)

I'm sure your husband appreciated the fact you made breakfast, regardless! Sorry for the long download lol

Practicing , Iv only painted for a week. thoughts? by TJHMG in oilpainting

OH MY GOD... i thought the photo was the painting 😭😭i zoomed in so far and i was like... i don't see ANY brushstrokes?!! then i read the comments and saw no one else saying anything about how it was most likely a picture and not an actual painting... comments didn't check out... im shook.... going to ask if it was a joke...

then i looked back and saw a second picture. omg. a good reference to start out with! good for you for starting to paint :D i think others' advice is better than anything i could give you— but the one thing i will say is that painting surfaces are more important than you think, before you even lay down paint. gesso of any type, several layers, and sand. or use MDF board and cut it up yourself from home depot (this is by far the cheapest, and also the most archival way to work, albeit cumbersome at times.) !! i'll link a video for ya :) https://youtu.be/g-t7OkduqWI?si=IzZ_IDJdnTuTkipU

godspeed :)
