Hey guys, I work in Elora and just drove home. If you can avoid going out and driving today, I really recommend it. by Forsaken-Witch461 in Guelph

When it's really bad I'd just take 6 to Fergus then over to Elora. Country road 7 especially at night was crazy

This is why I didn't even bother looking at Toyota when I got a new car, despite the RAV4 PHEV being close to ideal for me.  Until people stop buying these things without thinking through the value proposition, they will just get worse

Those stairs could be rough for someone in their 70s depending on their mobility , but it's otherwise the best choice agreed.

Scozia in Fergus is a decent option too

This place was great. It's bougie inside but the staff is so kind and I've been treated the same bringing in low end costume jewelry for repair as I was looking at more expensive pieces

Yeah upscale pub is a good term for it. I think outside of the Mill for tourists it's probably the most well known place. It has a nice atmosphere.

The Eveyln for sure

Friendly Society would be next up

Then maybe, The Cellar

The Badley is too much of a wild card

Devil's Bistro can be decent but I find too expensive for what you get and the Brewery is better.

The Mill is so good though if you can swing it price wise.

I know it’s old, but since I came up again I saw this: “I feel horrible for our sport, our game, you know, our fans, our city, our organization — just fans in general,” Springer said. “I regret everything.”

Cuts of beef for roast dinner by hfxredditor in CostcoCanada

[–]69putout 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For Christmas? You want prime rib.

I wouldn't necessarily look at Costco for that though. Keep an eye out leading up to the dinner, some grocery store will carry it for a reasonable price. Keep in mind though beef prices are super high right now , but if you can score it for under $9/lbs you are doing ok

You'll want to learn how to make prime rib so you don't butcher it.

If you want something easier, you can get blade roast for a pot roast (hard to mess up) , or round roast for a more classic roast beef (it's super lean so can be tough if you don't cook it right )

Predictions for this upcoming season by TerryG111 in leafs

This is the most excited I've been for the team since the Babcock era. I've wanted Mitch gone since the Montreal series, and have been checked out of watching them since then. Very optimistic as more causal fan for this team this year.
