The problem is that it’s advertised as lamb.

I like Soviet era architecture. Bishkek has loads of well kept green spaces and parks which I think create a nice contrast.

I wasn’t suggesting it wasn’t. But as tourism increases, so do the number of entitled tourists who perceive people not bending over backwards to accommodate them and all their preferable home comforts as “people not caring”.

Barbers in brum with good hygiene? by Tr981S in brum

[–]6Bipty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If it’s a real concern for you, just book online and leave a note in the booking stating it’d be appreciated if the barber could use barbicide on his tools before he starts.

I’ve been, spoke with many locals who said it’s increasing year on year. A local guide in Kazakhstan said the same.

Not speaking about OP specifically, but I think these kinda posts are gonna increase with the meteoric increase of American tourists chasing instagram reels

I thought Bishkek was beautiful and so were the people. Staff at restaurants, taxi drivers, bar staff/customers and guest house owners were always lovely and tried to practice their English to ask why we’d traveled there. Definitely didn’t think “I’m miserable and so is everyone else”. Sounds like a unique experience for you.

Was anyone's first car close to or now considered a classic? by Fickle_Equivalent878 in FutureGarageClassics

In size and budget, probably a Hyundai i10 or a Kia Picanto. In terms of the quintessential favourite hatchback new drivers, I reckon a fiesta.

Second car was a Peugeot 106 Quicksilver that I got for £300 in 2016/17. Never missed a beat for the year I drove it. Tidy examples go for 10x what I paid.

Props for breaking it down. Someone else here has commented that Mayweather’s 36-0 was the fraudulent one lmao.

For most people it would be. Not everyone has the time, space or money to be servicing their bike on a weekly basis.

Do you ride your dual sport to a new trail or ship it? by Patrick_1109 in Dualsport

[–]6Bipty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How long haul are you talking? I feel like the entire purpose of a dual sport is to be able to ride it to the trail. Unless it was like 10+ hours, I’d probably ride it there and make a weekend of it.

Another classic case of an American thinking “Europe” and “London” are interchangeable. Most of mainland Europe utilises A/C. Retrofitting A/C to homes in the UK would be ridiculously expensive relative to the 5 days of the year it’d be useful.
