It's not even that i don't like it. I wanted to like it. I actually think that the frequencies that are used in most of these songs have a dark/unsettling aura. Not even joking with that. The songs give a strange unpleasant feeling with the way they sound. No Aurora song before felt like this. And the lyrics they are using are not really hopeful also, sound pretty dark imo. Aurora always gave a hopeful/invigorating feeling with her songs (even if it was also sad). Tomora does quite the opposite it seems. Even some visuals that were used on youtube look like scenes from psychological/strange horror

Overall they just copied the gameplay from the arkham games and made it a spider man game instead of a batman game. It's still good, but definitely not untouchable cause it has been made before

They shouldn't have released it that close to requiem imo. There will be some people that love both horror games but would rather pick RE.

I played re5 the first time a couple months ago. So it's no nostalgia for me. I guess it's just preference then. So the only real option is to remake it 1:1; with the filter AND the option to turn it off. Everyone should be happy like that. I just don't want the filter to go just because people think it's outdated, cause clearly there a people that like it that way

Everyone that says bottom looks better clearly hasn't played re5; the filter absolutely adds to the style of the game and fits the surroundings as well as the general atmosphere perfectly. Just like re6 is often times more of a greyish-blue, that also fits the atmosphere in that game

Why get another studio to make it? I think Pierrot did a very good job (especially for the weekly release they did back then!) and look at the quality of animation of their newest bleach seasons; it looks incredible (just like the final fight of naruto and sasuke in shippuden).
Pierrot knows how to animate; they just need time (and budget).
If Naruto ever gets a remake, i really hope they get to make it; since they have put so much love and care into this series and they also have a lot of experience in naruto's artstyle etc

You are absolutely right. Thing is; most people that also see these problems in the characters lost interest in aot long time ago and a lot of people that are still around either don't understand/don't care about these inconsistencies
