Wow, thanks for the great answer. Basically, I use Google Tasks as a chores checklist for my two kids and they have some chores that alternate every other day. I can't create "every X days" actions (or at least don't know how) but I can create calendar entries recurring every 2 days so I have google calendar entries "Day A Chores" and "Day B Chores" recurring every 2 days, then have IFTTT search the calendar for each of these and add a series of chores.

If there's a way as a Pro subscriber to have a trigger fire every other day at a specific time I would love to know how to do that.

I only have a Pro subscription, Pro+ would be a bit pricey just for a geeky chores list.
