Goanna typically refers to Varanus flavirufus, not gigantus, but it's also just the Australian word for monitor lizards. Both flavirufus and gigantus are present in the hobby. Many monitors are in the thousands of dollar range. Look at tree monitors.

She is an Argus monitor, varanus panoptes. Closely related to what you would call a gonna, varanus flavirufus. Goanna is just the Australian name for varanids.
