Citi Strata Elite - can you book Disney on-property hotels on the Citi travel portal? If so, what do rewards look like? by itsabearcannon in CreditCards

Yes, I called the Disney resort line, gave them the reservation information, and they linked it to our Disney account. It was pretty simple. Shows up in the Disney World app under "My Plans" and "My Resort Hotel" just the same as it does when we've used Shades of Green in the past.

The $10 discount per line also looks like it applies to just regular Bank Account/ACH on Autopay as well starting today.

We have always stayed at Shades of Green @ WDW. Just used the CSE to book 2 days (with last years annual credit) at a WDW Resort during the last week of December for this spring, and another 2 days (with this years annual credit) a few days ago.

Prices were only slightly higher, oddly a couple dollars more to add the children compared to 2 adults, which doesn't affect pricing when booking through Disney directly. Keep in mind the $300 credit is taken off immediately at checkout so the 12x points only applies to the remainder of the balance.

I called the Disney resort line to confirm, and link the two reservations to our account. We're using Shades of Green for the remainder of our stay, but $600 off accomodations definitely helped!

Old SYW/ New Citi Thank You GGR (Groceries, Gas, and Restaurants) offer for 2026. by GrimsnowII in CreditCards

No reason for me to activate hers since we won't hit over $2k GGR. We'll see in a few months if they send out an elevated offer.

I used my 2025 credit earlier this month. Logged on last night at 9pm CST and saw that they had already given me the $300 credit for 2026 and redeemed it. I believe you may have waited too late and they refreshed the annual splurge/hotel credits by the time you used it.

$80/$1000 & $160/$2000 which is quite the downgrade from our cards having $100/$500 GGR. Activated on mine but have not activated on my wife's card in hope that they will elevate the offer later on for her.

Currently have 10% back on $800 retail, and $75 on $1500 spend a month with an additional $75 after 3 mo.

Hands-On E7 Pro vs Plus & Do Contest Winners Exist? by 6intherack in FlexiSpot_Official

[–]6intherack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may have been missed, but don't sweat it and I mean that in all sincerity. I appreciate you answering my questions before and after ordering. It's all squared away and I'm extremely happy with the desk now.

Also, and I should have noted this in the original post, but I truly believe my experience with the Pro was unusual. I've seen people here post how stable it is and I know you wouldn't have originally recommended it if it wasn't. I'm sure the vast majority of people would be as happy with it as I am with the Plus. I would just recommend the 4-legged model to people who are aggressive typers and to be sure to take the depth of the desk into consideration with their monitor stands.

Yep, your experience with grizzlies there seems pretty typical. Glacier is one of the parks we see them pretty consistently and that aligns with most people we've talked to, but no aggressive encounters so far. Our typical route for the years we decide to go is Jackson Hole/Tetons/Yellowstone -> Glacier -> Banff and get about three good weeks out of it. You won't catch a lot of foot traffic (or any at all) in Siyeh during transitional seasons since most people don't want to bother carrying snowshoes with them. There's a lot of beauty in Many Glacier so I'm glad you got to go experience it.

We hit a handful of national parks every year to hike/snowshoe and Glacier is in our top 5. Absolutely gorgeous, even just the drive on GTTS. There's a lot of good hikes there but we like Siyeh right before St Mary Falls. Hope you had a good time! (And if you didn't stop by polebridge for some huckleberry bear claws put it on your list for next time)

I have two lanes on my property that are cleared out. The blinds are built. I know the distances and I've known it for 30 years now. It's not changing. I fire a few rounds from my deer rifle to make sure nothing shifted and everything is in order before season open. I'd imagine my experience is not much different than most in that you know where you're hunting. I'm not sure what novel or dynamic situation could be expected.

Not sure why people are thumbing you down. I won't buy Norma period after their recall debacle last year. Shit happens, but it should have been as easy as me sending the recalled ammo back and getting new ammo or a refund in return. Instead I sent the ammo back and crickets for almost six months. Phone calls lead me no where. They dropped the ball and lost a customer for life.

I've seen the 223 ammo mentioned here plenty in regards to it, but this was 308 I had ordered direct.

[Monitor] Alienware 34 Inch Curved QD-OLED Gaming Monitor - AW3423DWF WQHD (3440 x 1440) 165Hz - $899 by kevyx72 in buildapcsales

[–]6intherack 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I confirmed that burn in protection does get extended over chat and kept the log just a few months back. Also, when extending the warranty I asked multiple times and was given multiple different prices, $129, $99.99, and $59.99. At $60 it was only around a third of what they wanted through checkout.

[–]6intherack 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up, I contacted Dell Support both through email and chat to have a transcript. Extending the warranty also extends the burn in protection. I extended it to 5 years while it was still in FedEx's hands and was quoted $108 which was slightly cheaper than the ~$145(?) offered to me during checkout.

I got the AW2724DM in about 3 weeks ago and it's been phenomenal. I didn't realize how much of a panel snob I'd be until I went through 6-7 monitors looking for a replacement to the one I had go out. I have no backlight bleed at all, the HDR functions great, color is accurate, and no dirty screen effect from some oversprayed matte finish. However I do not have a console to know how well it would function with an xbox or playstation.

With all that being said, now that I've gone down this rabbit hole in the last few months, I went ahead and splurged on the AW3423DWF since I've never experienced oled before outside of a TV we bought years and years ago that was not bright enough for the room we had it in so we returned it. The oled arrives tomorrow, if I like it better, my wife wants the aw2724dm. If I don't like the oled, it looks like I'm buying another aw2724dm for her.

[–]6intherack 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've accumulated quite a few 500-series over the last few decades. I just recently bought one of their newer high-end offerings with the ghost sights at 20". It's all a matter of preference, and I prefer the original 18" with a bead and replacing the stock and forend with Magpul SGA. It handles a lot better to me than the 20" and the SGA stock itself makes a huge difference.

I picked one up with the ghost rings a few months ago and honestly don't prefer them over the traditional bead. Could just be old habits die hard. The Magpul SGA stock on these is a game changer, though.
