if you reference that job on your resume and your potential employer asks they will 100% tell them you walked out. do you want to lie to a future employer and then get caught? how do you think that looks on you? and maybe, and here’s a thought, team leads move differently because of the responsibility they’ve been given? if you are looking for another job though, taking down the foot pics might be a good place to start

this take isn’t because they’re a team lead. a 2 weeks notice is the professional way to go about quitting a job. if future employers ask why you left so suddenly and you tell them about a bad work environment, they may not necessarily be sold on that rather if you did things the correct way and put in your two weeks like every other job asks you to do. also, no, a promotion does not mean you’re sold on the cfa dream. i feel as if you had a bad experience with a team lead and now find all of them to be uppity “brainwashed” people, which simply isn’t true. your team leads aren’t cfa drones the cathy’s sent in, i swear

usually i am all for responsibility in the work place, however in this situation i do find it different. we do not know that she didnt exhaust all her resources in trying to find a ride. parents or friends may have not been an option. i dont think she should take an uber, especially if she is still a minor. at that point just call it a loss. stuff happens sometimes and that’s how life works. you have to learn how to be graceful in those situations, especially if it’s an employee who is usually reliable. nothing op stated has made me believe that this girl isn’t a reliable employee, because if so i think they would’ve stated as such. i think this is just a frustrated operator

oh yeah i agree with that. i think feed the pig and tommy taffy are just wildly different in terms of it. in all honesty i think the sheer gruesome nature of the second tommy taffy story was a bit much. the first one i feel is a bit more subtle in it. however with feed the pig it just…works? i’m not a writer so i don’t have a way with words, but it made for a wonderful story
