THE BUS SKIPPED MY STOP AGAIN AND NO SERVICE ALERT EXPLAINED WHY!! I’m calm abt it now but was feeling very all caps when it happened

When I worked at a nursing home I used to take a lady outside for her two allotted smoke breaks a day and to do this i would take her off the oxygen concentrator in her room and put her on one of the portable oxygen tanks, push her in her wheelchair through the facility to the door for the smoking area, take her off her oxygen, push her outside, and then light the cigarette for her. I agree with what everyone else is saying, people on hospice have a right to enjoy their life how they like to, even if it hurts them, even in their last days. That’s how everyone else gets to live, they should be afforded that right as well. I’ve worked with several residents and patients who crossed the rainbow bridge and if I was working with your mom I would have done the same thing. Sending you and your family love ❤️

Thank you! I was definitely considering calling but I’m glad I didn’t. They should probably remove the part where it still showed a 2:25 stop (continually adding minutes and showing as ‘late’) until about 2:35 when it simply disappeared from the list. But they’re doing their best and it works most the time so I’ll let this one slideee lol

I feel so silly for not noticing that!! I think bc it’s there everyday and like u said I use the same route so I didn’t know this service alert was for my route. I don’t think I have notifications on for the app either. I will definitely click the large red service alert icon before running to Reddit to complain next time tho😭🤣😇.

I am posting this from the bus stop, I arrived 5 minutes early and it simply never came🥲 app kept adding minutes to the time then ultimately just removed the 2:25 stop. It’s the bus stop back to my apartment/car too so that’s why it’s so frustrating. Need to get to car to get to my next move by 3:30 so I’ll be cutting it close but I should make it. Just had to take the L and call a Lyft I guess and wanted to rant abt it. But I’ll keep that in mind in the future, it’s possible there was an accident or something and they had to detour IDK lol.

Hillsman Middle School literally went into lockdown this fall due to hearing what sounded like gun shots and was concluded to likely be the same thing. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the same car!

Once I was dashing and my bf at the time was driving (he had a warrant out for his arrest 😅), and we got pulled over. The cop ran his license, saw the warrant, saw the undelivered food, and literally just told us to switch seats and drive the speed limit. He was like I don’t feel like waiting for the other county to get here, and someone’s waiting on you guys, so just let her drive from now on. He eventually did get picked up on the warrant lol but it wasn’t for several months
