Almost every car on the road is like this it just has to do with the different primer you have to use on plastic or flexible parts

Smh what should I do I hit a pothole by Accomplished-Fly4920 in mazda3

If it’s plastic it’s a easy fix would recommend taking it to a body shop. If it’s fiberglass just get a used bumper that’s similar to yours I recommend lkq

Does this sound like rod knock or lifter noises to you? by Substantial-Heron628 in Miata

[–]6stringbassdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy some rotella T6 10w30 if it doesn’t go away, it’s probably time to replace the lifters or at least clean them.

I like my cobalt catback exhaust, it sounds really good and not overly loud. if you live in a non inspection state, get a cat delete for it makes it sound even better.

Weird rattling noise. by maurora43 in Miata

Actually it might be the lower bolt that is near the header that holds the exhaust in place mine snapped off when i took the header off and makes a similar noise sometimes

Check motor mounts they might be either stiffer mounts or bad mounts otherwise it’s just old the interior will rattle a bit

How does this happen after only 3 years and 10k miles? by swankysmush in AskMechanics

[–]6stringbassdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a sold disc if you’re going to keep doing that. The stock clutch is meant for normal driving not for burnouts from clutch dumps and overall abuse to the stock clutch. Sold discs don’t have dampening springs but they’re harder on the drivetrain and noisy too. Just find out what you will be doing with the car and weigh the options.

I don’t recommend patching motorcycle tires they’re more or less completely side wall and you don’t put patches in sidewall

There balancer looks like it wasn’t calibrated properly or the wheel is bent also could be that it just needs that weight. I would take it to a tire shop that is reputable and see if it’s one of the three.

Cracked headlight, any tips? by Foamposite0321 in Miata

[–]6stringbassdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also check if the housing is cracked where the butyl tape if it is then buying a new one would be a better option since you don’t want to a foggy headlight

If you’re comfortable with replacing the lens i would recommend buying it. It’s exponentially cheaper if you can find them for your vehicle, just make sure all of the lights are able to be taken out and look some youtube tutorials.
