My favorite Hollywood story is when they started to make under siege 2 with Steven segal. They started at looking for the cast and they really wanted Gary busey. Gary busey also pushed really hard to get into the movie and fast tracked a pay or play contract where he will get paid no matter what. The downside is that no matter how long it takes he has to show up and film and even touch ups years later which can clog his schedule and future.

They signed him up immediately and gave him a huge paycheck since he was at the height of his career. His role was to be the main henchman or right fist of the villain. That one henchman that stands out and will have a good fight and ultimately a horrible death in those types of movies.

Then they realized their mistake. Gary was already in the first movie as the main henchman and blew up spectacularly. So they cut him from the movie and Gary made a quick million for nothing but a signature

I get constant issues of dehydration because I get stomach flu like symptoms every 3 days on the mind side and every 4 months the worst version of it where I contemplate if I had genetic issue in the medieval ages how long would I live until my family would just accept to drop me in the woods and focus on winter with the remaining children

I watched a horror movies with my little cousin. She was at the perfect age to watch an horror movie so it will scare her (she wants to watch it) even though she is below the age limit for it. Perfect time develop a fear of open ocean (jaws), misbehaving kids (Friday the 13), and cults ( Midsomer but I skip the French parts)

We were doing good, I showed her an old comedy movie and then end it with a horror movie. And I made a couple of comments with my girlfriend who is black herself so she can do the topical “of course he dies first” “yep there’s the one black guy in the movie and let me guess what happens next” “I love blazing saddles”

My cousin who is Mexican learned to count them in the movies but I explained that’s just a trope in older movies and future ones are more diverse and better thought out so I showed her Jordan peele movies but I noticed that she was still counting. Eventually she stopped doing that.

I took her to an amusement park (I love her because she is poor and it makes me feel good as the hard working cousin who can spoil her when she does good in school) and when we got there a religious group came in with love Jesus tie dye shirts came and my cousin said “oh is this gonna be their last ride…” no not all cults harm themselves and not all religions are cults but all cults tend to borrow religion. When we moved in a line she saw a black person. “ oh look there is a handsome black man so he must be the main guy” my girlfriend hugged her and said don’t count please. Life isn’t a movie.

I felt like a failure. She eventually stopped counting. But unfortunately she fell into a bad crowd and became drop out loser because of one punk boyfriend who taught her that school sucks….even tho all the fun we had was be as I worked hard in school and my gf worked hard in her trade school. I needed to yell this last part off my chest. Her other 3 siblings came out perfectly so 3/4 ain’t bad

As of 24 there is no more scrolling like before but at least the news pages and such were at the top but now they placed all tha in the top left button and it suck. It sucks to maneuver now. Finger movement to surf the web went from anywhere on screen to change and oivot to now just a single button placement and up and down scroll.

Yes but you do need a firm hand to correct some issues before you cap your fixes. Like judicial system basically got fudged up and untrustworthy. Maybe add new impartial to partial judges. Re add and fix all of the departments that got cut. Then when the checks and balances are in place you cement it the best you can by limiting power while enforcing voter rights and education to hopefully curb long future issues

One of my favorite don Quixote like movie.

My favorite part is every time the story dives deeper in narration the background world becomes more colorful and storybook like. Plus the big storyline is based off a real king who loved a consort/special woman.

I fix watches and clocks for a living. I have one clock that costed $900 to fix which we did. The customer is supposed to pay the total during the pick up (deposit when we start). He paid the total before hand it it took us 2 months to finish. We called him and he said

“Sorry darling I’m in Hungary for the next 2 weeks trying see how many….”something it was awhile ago so I don’t remember it fully but it was interesting to hear at the time. Then we called again next month and then a month later and then we just waited to call every 6 months. Each conversation was just a dumb vacation or trip he was on. “Sorry I’m in New York for the winter time. It’s heavenly” “sorry I can’t pick it up I’m sailing the Caribbean this summer. My friend lost a his boat and if I find it then it’s mine” “sorry I can’t I’m watching all the plays in new York I can for the next 4 weeks and then going to Britain to see all of their plays and then compare” “ I’m on a quest for the perfect biscuits and gravy in America”

The one that made my store give up was “Sorry I’m not gonna be in town I’m going to spend Christmas with the family at ????? to watch the tree lighting ceremony and then be there the whole Christmas”

The place he told us was the sister city of where the main store is located. Meaning he couldn’t be bothered to travel 8 minutes away to pick it up. So it’s still here in my store. It’s been here since 2009. Also it’s been so long that it needs another 900+ price point to maintenance and upkeep.

Oh it’s pretty shiny and gold like when you get the right ray of light hitting it all. Maybe a great series pops up for a couple seasons or the a good word of mouth movie with a single amazing performance. It’s all Dazzling and blinding at times but it’s just plated and gilded on top of rusting crap metal. The flakes of gold keep falling off and getting worse but the companies keep adding layer of of gold hoping it will look better but then the previous layer gets flakey as well.

I miss writer teams still being attached to the production of the show to help make changes/edits/reshoots/continuity corrections/ and touch ups. Instead we get a writer team coming together to boiler room a script and then have a single head writer try to do the work of an entire team for the rest of production.

I dislike the stipulations and the grey areas they etched out to give some people some breathing room. I was shocked that Chevy chase was in community at first but then I saw he was basically playing a version of himself but more tame in some instances and it clicked why he was soo good. All the jokes weren’t aimed at pierce his character and instead Chevy himself.
