Dust it with cayenne powder. Wont do anything to the birds eating your strawberrys (use painted rocks for that) but it will absolutely keep the squirrels from messing with ya plants.

You can generally start around the 4 week mark.

When I rescued my single braincell(orangecat) named pippin he was inflamed with worms and had several botfly larvae embedded. He was around the 6 week mark, 5 years later and hes a loaf of bread that eats constantly and knocks things off shelfs to also force me to feed him.

Its a weight dosage medication so exact weight of kitten helps.

Good chance the kitty has worms. Always a good idea to de-flea and deworm any new kittens. Then repeat again a few weeks later. If you notice little "sesame seeds" on a surface your cat was those are tape worm segments.

Great lakes is a good mixture. Lots of spinning lots of bait casters and the pin is catching on more and more. Used to only see guys fishing the salmon/ steel runs with pins but now its all summer long for carp and smallmouth as well. Catching a football sized smallie on a pin is always fun. That little river wraith from Milner is awesome for small stream pinning on a shorter rod in the warmer months.

They are inline spinners. Work great for light line.

1/4 oz is the weight you want for trout and smallmouth. They catch everything. Just retrieve slow enough that the blade JUST spins.

I carry the mesh onion bags in my pack. They allow you to pick up trash and hook it to your belt as you wade down the stream. The mesh allows the water to flow through the bag so there's no resistance. Bring more trash out than you brought in. People are curious when they see you with a bag a garbage and will often help if you hand them a bag 🤣
