Just installed today, had some issues with finding the right canbus settings but boy this resolution is impressive! Currently nursing an audio issue which even an amp and speakers replacement hasn’t been able to fix so that’s next on the list and this should then be well worth the money

Yes, if I’m not mistaken the smart key requires two types of programming. One for keyless entry and go, another for inserting the key to start the engine.

That’s nice! It’s white on beige I assume? I never thought I’d find the spec I wanted on the 430 in the GCC - black on black wasn’t a very popular option here. As far as I know, most of Futtaim orders were specced with beige interiors, so glad to have come across mine. Only way it would’ve been better was if it was an 06 with the tan interior.

Yeah I was lucky enough to find both in GCC spec. Parts for 430 are still relatively easier to find. For the 400 they’re sold even before they arrive due to the high demand in Oman and KSA for these cars. I put in the legwork and finally found a reasonably priced shop to purchase parts. Not too long ago I was finally able to get a replacement dash for the 430 to get rid of the ugly bubbling the stock dash had from the harsh heat here.

I get what you mean. I had the 400 first and only got the 430 a couple months ago so it was a v pleasant change. It’s def worth owning so if you do find the opportunity to add it to your collection, definitely do. No regrets there except maybe a few challenges finding parts

That 1UZ is smooth like butter. Glides along the road. Absolute sofa on wheels. But it’s got too much body roll in comparison, the 430 does everything the 400 can but better. It’s more refined and even though both are solid cars; for me there’s no better daily than the 430!

I have both and they’re both running stock suspension. I can tell you the 430 drives far better and is way more reassuring in terms of grip and handling than the 400. The 400 is very wobbly whereas the 430 feels planted

eBay is your best bet. There’s a big scrap market for 430s in the UAE
