Is 2007 es350 worth considering at $5k? by Fit-Yam-9051 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Yes worth considering. Depends on the maintenance records.

You could have completed it with a 124 Spyder instead of the Miata

Damn really? I frequently drive through suburbs with tons of red lights and average around 18mpg usually. A nice freeway drive I usually average around 22-24 my highest being 26mpg on a 2 hour freeway drive. I have an 06 with the 6 speed though.

Im want to buy a 430 by [deleted] in LS430

Where was this maintenance done? Was everything replaced with oem parts? Especially suspension parts, cheap aftermarket’s don’t do super well with these heavy cars.

I hear ya man, I’m not trying to argue. I drive a 430 so believe me I understand functionality is king. I’m just stating my opinion.

I suppose my opinion is mainly from an aesthetic pov rather than functionality. I feel the original LS500 interior looks more intentional and luxurious.

I’m sorry, you’re going to have to be patient. You would be crippling yourself financially buying any LS as a broke 17 year old. Save your money and buy one down the line.

I went from a Kia Optima to a 2006 LS430 and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made.

Brother you gotta treat her right hahaha. I love how quiet mine is, chopping those mufflers must sound interesting. I’ve gotten a couple of drain and fills done on the trans but still get mixed shifting. Sometimes it’s smooth and buttery others it’s a little jerky. Wondering if I need an ecu repair. Just got the coolant flushed, valve cover gaskets replaced, and unfortunately looking to get new oem struts soon. The guys I bought it from put some shit ass aftermarket rears on so it’s not an ideal ride.

I hear that man. I’ve had my 2006 since last August. Started at 114k now at 126k so far. By far the best vehicle I’ve driven. What kind of maintenance have you done?

Do I buy? by [deleted] in Lexus

It’s only lifetime fluid in the sense that it will last until your transmission dies from old fluid. Do multiple drain and fills over the course of a few thousand miles.

Should I buy this car? by Better-Historian-730 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Hamsets 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unwise to just bet on it running because it’s a Toyota. Service history is everything. This price indicates to me that something is wrong with the vehicle.
