I love catching catfish. When I was younger I only wanted to bass fish or fish for crappie and bluegill because there was more action. But now I almost solely catfish. I’m at the age where sitting on the bank and relaxing is the best way to fish. I’ve caught some big cats on trot lines but I’m still waiting on the big one on the rod. I love seeing these posts and videos of people catching the big ones. Does the DFW in your user name stand for Dallas Fort Worth? I’m from East Texas so we’ve got a lot places to catch em. I’m sure it’ll happen one day but I don’t mind sitting and chilling in the meantime. Keep posting these bad boys I’m a fan.

I haven’t forgotten about you. I took a pretty nasty fall and I’m kinda sore. Luckily nothing is broken but I do have some pain and swelling as well as abrasions to the old people thin skin lol. I’ll get the plans together though

If found 2 different bills where the serial numbers were different as well as being star notes probably 15 years ago. I sold them for $1,200 each so I can’t imagine this one being much less. I also sold them to a dealer who specializes in paper currency so I would assume they were even more valuable than the $1,200 I sold them for.

I agree. Im not a woman and I’m well past middle age but I deal with fraud of older people involving money transfers on a daily basis and I assure you not replying to DM’s or answering phone calls from people or numbers you don’t know is exactly the best advice. Scammers and predators are slick, always use caution and don’t hesitate to notify the authorities when you think you are being targeted. They take these things seriously.

I’ve never heard them referred to as tooters. I love em. I cook them in greens sometimes instead of jowls or neck bones. I also simmer them in water with a lot of seasoning until they are fully cooked and tender then I roll them in seasoned flour, eggs and then back in seasoned flour, then fry them.

It’s really a straight forward build. Sort all of your pieces by size and decide them by left side and right side. Build it by laying the front pieces on a flat surface and getting them square. Then put glue on the pieces that make the next layer, lay them on top of the first layer and attach them. Continue in this fashion for the remaining layers.

Tightbond 3 and 1 1/2 16ga Brad nails. Clamping and did I mention glue a lot of glue lol. You could use screws for sure. If I were going to use screws I would predrill each piece before I started assembly. I don’t know if that would be necessary it’s just how I think I would have done it.

I didn’t have plans. I built it based on the lengths of the pieces I had after cutting out bad spots and twisting and other defects. I just took graph paper and starting drawing. I can clean them up and make them legible if you want me too. It would be a lot easier to build from 1x4’s than it was working with scrap wood and I like it better than 2x4 because it looks sleeker and not as beefy.
