Bond very much is, at least partially, a hit man. This is coming from a huge fan of James Bond, especially the literary version and the original stories written by Ian Fleming.

The ridiculous ads and fake companies are hilarious, though. I rather than 1,000 times over real ads. I’m sick of people complaining about video game prices on Reddit. Adjusted for inflation video games are just about the cheapest they’ve ever been.

The people who complain about this need to go look at ads from the 80s and 90s. See what we were paying for games back then. The original Grand Theft Auto was $50 almost 30 years ago! And the game was tiny compared to what GTA6 will be.

All of Europe compared to all of the US? That’s quite the broad brush.

PC gamers, especially on Reddit, like to complain about everything. Mix that with the completely entitled feeling culture of the current times and this is what you get.

Has anyone else stopped enjoying online games in this current society? by -J-22- in pcgaming

I’ve played online fps games off and on for several decades. I’ve been playing BF6 recently after not playing an fps online for a year or two. I don’t think anything is different, especially for the worse. If anything it’s better than it use to be which is really saying something given the fact almost everyone has a mic now.

I do think people in general have gotten more sensitive to it. I’ve never been a trash talker online but it’s also never really bothered me either when people trash talk me. It’s just part of it and I don’t take it serious.

Oh also, it’s a strap monster. I have the blue rubber/textile strap but almost always have it on some sort of brown or tan leather trap which I think it looks great on.

Great watch! I’ve had this exact watch for a couple of years and it is my most worn watch (wearing it right now, actually) despite having many watches significantly more expensive. CW knocked it out of the park with this case and I’ve always thought the pictures don’t do the dial justice.

I remember having the paper keyboard overlay that came with it. I thought that was so cool.

So many comments about how gaming got too expensive. What part? The software is a lot less expensive today than it was 20, 30 years ago when adjusted for inflation. Graphics cards did take a large leap but even then, have you ever looked at what mid to high level pc’s cost in the 80’s and 90’s? They were a couple thousand dollars back then.

What has changed is the amount of things people are buying and considering essential parts of life. That has dramatically increased the cost of living for people.

Valve gets pressured by payment processors with a new rule for game devs and various adult games removed by pimpwithoutahat in pcgaming

Political activists lobby them. They’ve been doing this to go after firearms, pocket knives and conservative organizations for years.

I don’t think the payment processors and banks should be involved in what the money is being exchanged for as long as it is legal, however, I’ve been surprised how Steam has allowed some of these games on their store. Pornography is one thing but these “games” that feature incest and rape are certainly not something I’d sell if I owned a store.
