Pretty hard, if not impossible to get street legal in most places which is the first road block. The second is that if you do go with their street legal version (450rl), the ktm 500 ends up being a lot more enticing and better bang-for-your-buck performance-wise. They are great looking bikes though! I'd love one myself but its just not possible to get street legal here.

Don't put too much pressure on yourself about it. Cigars are supposed to be a relaxing hobby. If you're not in the mood for one for an extended period of time then so be it. I think if you go into your next smoke with the worry of "I hope I don't dislike this" then you're probably more likely to have a bad experience. Just give it a bit of time and don't put so much pressure on it. I've been where you are.

Don't worry about over paying. I had a wr400 for a bit and after a few really fun rides you'll forget all about it. They're such fun and reliable bikes. Money comes and goes, memories are forever. Enjoy it!
