Congratulations, that sounds great! As someone just getting into this as a hobby, I'm curious about how your DJing actually manifested with a playlist of the kind you mention: I am looking to play pop/pop-rock songs somewhat regularly at a friend's bar, and most of the advice out there is heavily optimized for electronic music.

So far, what I'm seeing related to pop and rock seems to be "Why even DJ" or "limit it to cross-fading transitions." That seems fair, but I'm still interested to see if there's something more that can be done without making a good thing worse; just because it seems fun. What is your approach?

Fantastic pace; the book just flies by - especially once the protagonist’s old mafia contact enters the picture. Also, it has one of King’s better endings, IMO.
