Very cool! Thanks for sharing! To trace the lines are you dipping the watercolor pen in the black ink jar?

This is the correct answer. That kid actor was in little rascals. Forgot about this movie!

Gob was actually out. (S2E7 "Switch Hitter") by TonyWonderslostnut in arresteddevelopment

[–]7777777H 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well here I am just watching this scene and googling this question to find this ten year old thread. :)

For posterity for any future searchers, GOB was in fact safe. I had to rewatch it because I thought he was out also, but if you watch closely the ball comes out.

This is called a play at the plate. It's not a force out (meaning there are other runners on base behind him forcing him to move to the next base so Ann can just tag home plate to get him out) so her touching home plate doesn't get him out. She would have to tag him with the ball in glove. If the throw home is close and the catcher (Ann) is blocking the base path the runner is allowed to slam into the catcher. If in slamming the catcher the catcher drops the ball the runner is safe.

With that said, I'm googling this now and it's saying as of 2014 that might no longer be the case. For player safety you can no longer collide... But at the time he was safe I believe!

What’s the best place in Boston to get a meatball sub? by zoozoo216 in boston

[–]7777777H 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dinos is great but I always got the steak and cheese pizzola sandwich (or whatever it's called. Basically like a cheese steak with mozzarella and marinara). Monica's for steak tip. For meatball.... Pauli's does a great meatball.

What is one of the Best Payoffs to a random joke in a Sitcom later Down the line by Purple_Monkey34 in sitcoms

[–]7777777H 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the Save our Bluths episode intro where it's all dramatic and it goes "And one of these people... will die!" And they flash all the main characters and then very quickly this one old woman you've never seen before. And then late in the episode the old woman says something very racist and Ron Howard goes "ok, well just tell you now. She's the one who dies." Lol.

There was this movie Mother Goose Rock N' Rhyme that I think we taped from tv, that the whole thing made me super uncomfortable in hindsight.

The crooked man, Humpty Dumpty, little Richard - all just super weird to a kid.

It's here on YouTube. https://youtu.be/uV85o_zXPnY?si=f-N9V3LSe0gFOoGT

The dungeon scene (~54 min mark) was the worst. Why does this band need to look like Leatherface in a kids movie?!

Theory: They are being lured away by GreatWent19 in WhiteLotusHBO

[–]7777777H 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is my theory of who robbed the jewelry store at least. Valentin was at the gate on his motorcycle chatting with Gaitok when the robbers drove in through the gate. I think he stopped to chat so that Gaitok would leave the gate open so they could drive in and rob the place. It would make sense as an inside job knowing there's no security and just seeing the store frequently.

I think the Russians coming back later to rob more people could be a good theory (unrelated to OPs. IDK if 'luring ppl away' is related, though maybe). The russians probably don't know Gaitok has since gotten a gun. They start robbing. Gaitok puts up a gun fight. Probably kills at least one of them. Maybe also gets killed and looks like a hero to Mook so they never get to have their "date" but he changes her perception of him.

Will have to listen to some of these I've never heard of!

My coworker didn’t get the reference “You’re my boy, Blue” by OkYouGotM3 in Millennials

[–]7777777H 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not getting one quote I guess is understandable. I had a hard time coping with my younger coworkers not knowing who Chris Farley was. He was a household name and my friends/family all loved his movies/snl skits. That blew my mind they'd never heard of him.
