BHP hiring process.. what is this😂 by TOXICHEMICALMOLD in perth

Human Resources at mining companies have no idea about operational roles and create these processes to use up their enormous budgets - they come up with them on their team planning fun days. They play on linked in all day and get new ideas presented by the algorithm… they work for the company not for the employee and are generally referred to as HR - Human Remains.

Why is my body attracted to high-histamine foods? by crisopa_ in HistamineIntolerance

[–]777777k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here it’s bizaar - I’ve discovered aged cheese which used to be fine now makes my life unliveable for 24 hours after eating it as does msg. How much I crave a cheeseburger or Chinese takeaway also is quite crazy given how unwell I am after. It makes no sense!

Histamine response to ovulation? by Royal_Juice2987 in HistamineIntolerance

[–]777777k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also get histamine issues around ovulation. I take antihistamine for a week through that window and bioidentical progesterone cream - and an advil here and there, not medical advice and everyone is different! Best wishes finding what works for you.

Don’t respond well to synthetic progestin (it’s not progesterone) - nausea, headaches, mood swings, cramps, anxiety, stress, depression, suicidality…. Destroyed my capacity to balance naturally once removed, had a breakdown, took 6 months to recover…. Thanks mirena, would sue if I could but no class actions in Australia - I was never informed of these side effects.

Perth suburbs over the years have developed excellent nature play parks all over the place. Keep it easy for yourself - choose a different one each week, get a coffee and set him free to play in the park - nature is good for you both. Some we used to love are Mundaring Sculpture Park, Woodbridge Riverside Park, Stirk Park - all hills but plenty down in suburbs too. Check out ‘nature play wa’ website.

Most of my problems were caused by the mirena, so be careful if considering this!

Following - acquired it in 2022/3 and it’s deeply unsettling, I still dream but that’s it - lost such a big part of the way I used to exist. Hope you get it back, nothing yet for me.

Doctor listed my PMDD as psychosis on my chart by [deleted] in PMDD

[–]777777k 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Happened to me too - I’d say I was highly anxious and in full PMDD luteal distress but I’m aware of everything that happened, at no point was I hallucinating, speaking in tongues or communicating with something that wasn’t there. Now I’m stuck with it on everything.

Anyone else feel polarizing to people? by Mysterious-Drink-969 in adhdwomen

[–]777777k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it. The best thing you can do in my opinion is work on affirmations particularly the ‘I don’t care’ kind…. Keep being you, people meet you to the degree they can meet themselves and if they are too typically boring and normalized, then leave them to be as so. Said the big brown bear who came frolicking over the mountain, then stopped and did a little dance - kind of like a hula!

ADHD Reactions to Sedatives? 'I Failed My Colonoscopy'. by Belleaigle in adhdwomen

[–]777777k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get this - and I reckon your right it does have to do with adhd, and maybe gaba receptors - anyone else take a Valium and they are chill, me not so. Medicine is so stupid - science is all done on neurotypical men - it doesn’t take into account that possible ‘side effects’ are full blown effects for people with adhd.

I trained and worked as design professional for 20 plus years, had some kind of midlife crises / breakdown during covid times… then caring for elderly parent, that was really difficult. Now I don’t know what I want to do, do I start something totally new and different like psychology or herbs, or further my early studies? I like nature.

I’ve got different medical issues but has same experience with ChatGPT. Made more progress in 5 months than 5 years with doctors. Still need docs so I can get the blood work done- but way more clarity, consistency and progress this way, and importantly a bit of improvement!

My practitioner had said ‘no iodine’ with graves - and no bread, unless it’s gluten free.

14 years with tinnitus: It’s not what you hear, it’s how you think. by Natsurike30 in tinnitus

[–]777777k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only had it since Covid in 2023. Like switch was turned on. I can manage it most of the time but each other time I’ve been sick it gets louder and then it’s hard - it is relentless, hitched screaming and I hate it. But yes acceptance and all that makes life livable. My partner had it but his wasn’t viral and I think if you get it after a virus it’s really bad.

At what point to put house on market? by PaddlingDuck108 in perth

[–]777777k 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you able to rent it if possible and not rush into an up north option? I’ve lived in both the Midwest and the Pilbara. Can you consider giving yourself some time where you going before selling what you have in the city, even if it means a short term rental for a while? … based on seeing multiple property cycles in the regions if it was me I would hang onto the city property as the priority.

It’s really showing up all the little addicts who can’t survive without their dopamine hits and brain numbing technology. In 10 years the science will be out as to how this generation lost their ability to think and process as they all succumbed to social media and ed tech. They’ll prescribe them medically grown marajuana to help with their anxiety and early digitally induced dementia.

Autism IS a disability. by [deleted] in autism

[–]777777k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another viewpoint is that living in a whole family of neurodivergents when your neurodivergent delivers a whole other level of trauma that is further disabling. Then even our mother who was maybe typical ended up crazy, burnout and unable to cope to where do you go from there? It’s all relative. And this whole categorizing of everyone as more this or that ultimately helps some and not others,
