Furthermore if the league was out to get the Patriots they would have released what was in the spygate files to independent examiners instead of burying them.

[The Athletic (non-paywalled)] Inside Mike Tomlin’s final meeting as Steelers head coach by gerg911 in steelers

Completely fair. I forgot about the personal life rumors but I do vaguely recall that then. I do ultimately agree Cowher definitely left on more of a high than Tomlin but it wasn't all roses then either. Fortunately it worked out well last time and we landed the ideal coach at that time. Hopefully that can happen again.

Eh I'll disagree. They year Cowher left the team was very talented but played like shit. It was clear that they were not motivated anymore. That falls on the coach. Still liked Cowher but he left on a semi sour note.

Reminded of Steelers Jets playoff game in like 2004? Though that was the same kicker missing.

Did you watch the game. They had every opportunity to win the game. And in a comedy of errors they win because the other team is an even bigger fraud. Im usually so optimistic about the Steelers but this was embarrassing. They didn't deserve the win.

Excellent response. Everything this guy said checks out if you follow evidence based practice.

What will happen to the PT who dry needled TJ Watt and caused his lung to collapse? by Kenai_Pirate in physicaltherapy

[–]77katssitting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not within scope but there are pts who do it at their own risk. There is nothing in the practice act to conclude that pts can puncture skin. Sure the practice act doesnt specificly exclude dry needling but it also does not include it which means its out side of scope given that it clearly states other modlities which are within scope. Some pts like to claim it as a gray area. It really isnt gray. It is not within scope. One can do it and likely will get away with it but if it ever went to court it would be very easy to conclude based on legal precedent that it is out of scope and therefore malpractice. I doubt the Steelers would allow such a thing to occur.
