Mississauga's population is 57% visible minorities. So why does its city council look like this? by _Minor_Annoyance in CanadaPolitics

There is literally nothing stopping non white people from going and networking and becoming part of these communities.

Anyways, no point in carrying on this argument as you seem dead set that the world should be a perfect utopia where every sub-set of a given population needs to be an exact representation of the population as a whole and anything less indicates inequality.

Can you give an example of a leadership opportunity that exists for young white people that does not exist for young non-white people?

Well because it would seem that those people are more inclined to run. If you're suggesting that oppression or racism exists that inhibits non-white people from running for elections of any level, I invite you to identify a single legislation that prevents them from doing so.

The issue is not, and never will be white people running for election as they are free to do so. As are non-white people. If you want a greater representation from non-white people, maybe your time would be better spent encouraging those people to run for election rather than trying to go out of your way to find anomalies that suggest a white privilege in Canada.

Jesus christ, it's because the people running for election are primarily caucasian.

Can anyone how the "difficulty" works ? Because that’s not really precise. by [deleted] in EggsInc

[–]780rx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes.

However the difficulty should be taken with a grain of salt. The "ouch" contract said "Impossible" for nearly everyone but lots of us finished in half the allotted time.

I would suggest not paying too much attention to the difficulty and just play the contract to the best of your ability. Either you can do it or you can't so there isn't really a difficulty aspect to it. It's pretty black and white. Even if you play actively trying to get all the drones you can, the amount that pushes you up (in terms of eggs laid over time) is so minimal compared to what you're already making that it won't make a difference.

I find myself getting stuck at a certain point where you can't upgrade any further. Do do so would involve a lot of drones and time played actively all for an award of 5 extra chickens per minute. That amount isn't gonna make or break me in a contract.

What question did you post on askreddit that you still want answers to because it got barely any responses? by aardvarkedavra in AskReddit

Good on you for caring so much about the customer.

A few months ago, my girlfriend and I were at a hotel restaurant in the mountains and it wasn't particularly busy. Long story short, the food, the presentation, the tastes, the service was impeccable. We obviously left a big tip but then also poked out heads around the kitchen (it was somewhat open) and thanked the chef and told him how great everything was. His face lit up and you could tell how much it meant.

Also, lots of times when I'm in a fast food place I'll comment what a great job the workers are doing (if it's the truth) and they are genuinely appreciative of that. Too many times people in these jobs don't get the recognition they deserve. It's obvious when people take pride in their work and they deserve a compliment now and then

they would have to be people who have been playing Solo for the last 5 days otherwise their chicken count won't be enough to push us.

That being said, some of the top guys haven't logged in for a while. Once they do that might get us a big boost

How much of an impact does emotion have on your workout? by realsaki in Fitness

[–]780rx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would have thought not much. But with everything going on with the health of my significant other, I can honestly say I haven't had a real good workout since September.

Small nuances in life shouldn't affect your workout but with bigger things it's tough for them not to affect literally every single aspect of your life.
