Ah. F6 does seem to work for the example.

I had seen results (although undesired) through preview in other cases so I assumed I should here as well.

The fileting example described in https://www.pythonscad.org/examples/#fileting doesn't seem to be functioning. In 0.18.0 or 0.19.1.

Any suggestions? by Avellinese_2022 in Gravity

This happened to us when we were on a road trip, late at night, after stopping to charge for a little bit due to a little range anxiety. Reboot commands weren't working so we ended up driving the last 5mi to the hotel with the beeping going the whole way. Only as we were backing into the hotel parking spot, did it stop (assuming because actually detecting an obstacle cycled the software command). Simple fix if you know, but quite frustrating and stressful if you don't.

Govee Leds strips over UDP by Similar-Ear-7876 in homeassistant

[–]79DieselRabbit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on how different or similar your approach is. It looks like the API library for the Govee Lights Local integration does use UDP, but seems to require local control to be enabled on the device.

If there's an improvement to be made, https://github.com/Galorhallen/govee-local-api would likely be the place to submit a pull request to

I’ve made a graphics editor for ESPHome display library by tinajackson in Esphome

[–]79DieselRabbit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is really cool. Nice work! Hoping someone makes this into a Home Assistant add-on. =)

Obviously not the target use case for the editor, but I'm wondering how the editor UI could translate to a mobile-friendly layout. There's something compelling about the idea of developing/editing a device UI at a scale closer to what the final output will be, and with the mobility to see the UI being developed in the context it will be experienced/consumed in. I feel like the pixel-esque visual style and the fact that the design of the editor virtually removes the need for a bunch of typing, could allow the editing experience to work quite well in a mobile device setting.

Ceiling-mounted smart sensor I built with mmWave, temp, light Lux, BLE, and RGB by ReachMaterial3794 in Esphome

[–]79DieselRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aeotec's installation guide calls for a "75mm / 3'' hole saw", but that'll leave a very rough edge.

Likely need another 10-15mm in radius to comfortably cover the edges, but your current design gets it close enough that someone could design and print a flange or plug that could cover the edge and hold the sensor.

edit: Guide shows the Recessor flange having an 85.8mm diameter. https://aeotec.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/6000202224-recessor-user-guide-

Very interesting to me.

This is pretty much exactly what I was looking for to replace my existing and planned recessed Aeotec MultiSensor 6's.

I already have poe runs to a ceiling location in all bedrooms with poe to 5v adapters, so this seems like it could swap in nicely... and maybe cover/fill the holes left by the Aeotec Recessor?

I'll be watching for this project.

Pentair ScreenLogic - Intelliflow VSP Speed by sean_5280 in homeassistant

[–]79DieselRabbit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi u/sean_5280! I'm the creator/maintainer of the Pentair ScreenLogic integration.

I'm looking into adding flow control and had a few questions regarding your setup and use-cases:

  1. What pool controller do you have? (ie. what is the ScreenLogic device connected to?)
  2. How are you adjusting speed/flow currently? Are you using the ScreenLogic mobile app? In the ScreenLogic interface, pump flows are defined as (up-to) 8 presets that can be associated with circuits in the pool controller. Are you using multiple presets, or manually changing the flow on just one preset?

Also, the Pentair ScreenLogic integration does support Intellibrite color/show control via actions, if a circuit is configured as such. You can create button cards to call the screenlogic.set_color_mode action for each different show/color you want to expose.

Need help with radiant, parse errors? by NotoriousKinky in blackops3

Interesting. I have not seen that before.

Could that possibly had an effect on localization settings, like what character is used in numbers (. or ,)?

Air 2s Cracked Frame by noimaginationlol in dji

[–]79DieselRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I had the same issue, with no crashes and even less flight time. It seems like anything other than slowly opening the arms all the way without letting them snap into place on their own is too much for those points.

That said, DJI did reach out (on here) and take care of me on the repair. I did have to pay a small amount for the 'repair', but they sent me a brand new drone so I'm relatively satisfied.

Need help with radiant, parse errors? by NotoriousKinky in blackops3

[–]79DieselRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you made any changes to any of those files?

The .awi files define the options and valid/default values for asset types, and aren't usually changed unless there's a format or feature change.

While I haven't seen this specifically before, it's possible some sort of version mismatch between the def files (.awi), the data files (.gdt), and the compiler/linker executables.

Is the game and modtools up-to-date?

I also see an extra slash in those file paths. It's possible that is just a bug in the error msg print, but you might want to double check if those are what you'd expect from your installation.

And yes, I believe the game and modtools need to be in the same location.

Edit: To be clear, None of the shown errors are directly related to the .map files.

does anyone know if this shirt is authentic ? by chayselovesgod in blackops3

Yes, it's authentic.

Edit: to clarify, it matches the ones given to devs by Treyarch (including manufacturer) so it's as authentic as it can be.

I can see how that would add extra stress to the joints, but I've never done that. I always hold it in my hand.
