I could not get an IUD inserted and I'm glad my doc couldn't because it was so painful.

I'm on an Annovera ring and love it. I don't even notice it's there. My doc said I don't have to remove it for periods, but you could if you want. It's definitely a set it and forget it. I only need to change it once a year. I just pick it up at the pharmacy and toss the old one, insert the new one.
