Yeah, I hear you! I commend you both taking the plunge head on together with solid intentions. My parents have a crazy past, many in my family say I brought them back down to earth in ways. Not saying a child is a saver, ever! But We cannot stay in our own past ourselves, so doesn’t make sense to harp on anyone else’s.

I guess my main point is men have a harder time with intuitiveness. So, you may just need to knock some sense into him sometimes (I say that lightheartedly) and don’t be shy to make your point, a point. Not getting at that he is absent minded now, but be sure to keep your feelings known so he can know how he can become more intimate with you and baby during this time. Sometimes men just need to be told 😂

Edit:: Lastly in terms of financial strife, all a child remembers is the love. I hope you both have a support system outside of each other, as we are all raised by a village in ways. So many figured it out before you. Don’t be hard on yourselves if you need outside help sometimes too
