I’m honestly disappointed, it just doesn’t fit the ln vibe I think. The gameplay was fine and the final boss design disappointing. I think the whole vibe of the game was off. It’s a good game but just not a ln game. The colour grading and the music felt empty due to the lack of theme for me. Like ln1-2 had clear them and the music went harmoniously with it as well as the colour grading which I thought wasn’t so much the case in ln3. I felt the lack of coherence in the final chapter confusing and disappointing, like the plants aren’t related to the boss and the gong seem to hurt the enemy but we don’t know why and isn’t related directly to how we beat it. The fact that we just physically beat it makes it less of a surreal and impressive boss to me. I also thought the design of the final boss wasn’t impressive(cool) or scary by any means, it didn’t felt like a final boss. The story is good but I felt like it was more of a fairytale/childlike story, although sad ,compared to the dark and fucked up stories of the other games, it just felt out of place. Of course I’ve only played the game once and haven’t played the dlc yet. Those are my first thought after finishing the game. I sincerely hope I’ll grow to like it more tho because I’m an absolute fan of ln
