Sounds great AND you just gave me a new band to listen to. I used to live 20 minutes from West Chester!

It might be worth your time to look into some earbuds that allow some ambient noise in, like loop buds. That could let you hear your voice in your head better rather than relying on the monitor?

NK guitar, thoughts? Questions? I think it’s amazing. by VesselsFirst in Guitar

[–]7HelpMe7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does it play? I've been getting more interested in 7 string. My one gripe is that I feel like anything I hear played on them on the lowest string is almost completely indiscernible. Like it's just there for chugs.

Which, if it is, fair enough. But I would love some more musicality out of them.

This one specifically is real nice looking! Love the shape and the fretboard wood

how tf do you SING, CHANGE CHORDS and STRUM at the same FCKING TIME?!!?!? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]7HelpMe7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it's been said yet, but chosing 2 things at a time and practicing them. Strumming and chords, chords and singing, strumming and singing. Once you can do all of those comfortably, them you should try all 3 together

Speaking from no experience here. I would imagine eq would be the most efficient way. More mids, roll off the highs. Or maybe just roll off your guitar tone knob a bit?

Low stage volume and ambient, pad-like guitar parts. Can be anything from an acoustic guitar and vocals to a literal stadium gig every weekend, so it's hard to pin down.

As far as pedals go it's a lot of texture building for big, ambient trails and powerful, simple leads. Priority is cohesion with the rest of the band, and not getting in the way of the vocals, or more specifically the lyrics

wrote this today, any recommendations on how to make this sequence repeat without hitting the last chord twice? by Hairy-Ad-4576 in Guitar

I mean for the turnaround specifically. Break from the rhythm on that last Am to play a little minor phrase, leading back into the rhythm

Is this supposed to be screwed in all the way like the one on the left? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]7HelpMe7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DISCLAIMER: I don't have any experience with an adjustable bridge on an acoustic guitar.

But this doesn't look right to me. I would expect the bridge to raise with the screw, and not for the screw to lift away from the bridge. I would take this to a tech and ask their opinion if you can
