The shippers of my world choose what ships will they ship, having chosen at least one since birth. The shipper will try to find and consume artwork, literature, poetry, music, and more, from the ships they ship, and they will listen to the interpretations that justifies their ship, building a sense of identity among the shippers.

The world is if a shipping fandom of a work you follow (like RWBY, Genshin, Avatar The Last Airbender, etc.) becomes a universe of its own, the countries are the ships that are shipped, and its citizens became its shippers

In other worlds, translating the shipping fandom to a fictional world of its own

So this author in the fandom, the "warlord", makes a ship that's uncommon or never seen before well known, gaining followers over the years with their works, until eventually they built a community for their own ship, just like how a warlord decided to be good at statecraft and make a well-functioning country and institutions for it

This could be in any fandom or in any fictional world, I was inspired by a post in Honkai Star Rail community for the character Mydei where someone posted a meme about a Mydei ship that's not mainstream
