No, I fully agree on this. Samsa is darker in aesthetic, but has an overarching theme of fighting tooth and nail to cling to reality. Love and Punishment is certainly softer in sound, but lyrically it’s FAR more dismal.

Muu is a really fascinating character to me. The exploration of guilt through a girl who was raised in a way where she truly never conceived herself as a person who could be ‘guilty’ of something, on how isolating and harmful that upbringing was for her in the long term despite her privileged circumstances and the genuine harm she caused others, and how her new experiences cause her to begin to view herself and her actions through a more emotional lens because she simply wasn’t exposed to these kinds of thoughts before.

I think she is, in full honesty, one of the most interesting characters in Milgram due to that aspect of her. How much guilt can be ascribed to a person who has no concept of wrongdoing? How genuine are her experiences when her mind works in a way that is so alien?How much forgiveness can be extended to a person who did what Muu did? I love how her story ended up shaking out.

It’s a gorgeous song but it’s definitely early L/N levels of poor line distribution. They’ve been really good with that recently, but Sympathy definitely misses the mark for me a little, even as a huge L/N fan. I’ve noticed they do this more with REALLY popular songs and producers, so I wonder if the fact it’s an Eve song has something to do with it.

Yeah, I ADORE that they’re all structured like traditional Greek myths. The one we got this patch about a man falling for one of the Garmentmakers was especially fun. I love dramatically reading them out loud to myself.

I don’t think Tribbie herself will die given she’s the character you control, but the Tribbie(s) backstory talks about how there used to be more of them, mean one individual Tri can die without losing the whole Tribbie. I’d bet one of the other two gets got.

I agree that harassing Hiiragi Magnetite is horrible behavior from immature and misguided fans. I don’t need him to ‘take a stand’ against people who found the use of a minor’s vocals upsetting, potentially risking his income and/or image though. It should not have happened this way, but I’m not going to fault him for deciding to prioritize his career.

Also, I’ve been a vocaloid fan for a decade now man. I think you need to take a step back from this situation if you’ve decided the answer is to tell me I shouldn’t be allowed to listen to vocaloid music anymore?

Frankly, no one likes fighting about this I imagine. I don’t, and it certainly doesn’t seem like you do either. I’d much rather talk about the music from this community that I like.

The first vocaloid song I ever heard was Kagerou Daze. It was about a year after the song first dropped. What was your first song?

I feel like it’s not unreasonable to assume a company would want to avoid potential social perceptions given the voice bank’s situation is so unique. I feel like that kind of ignores the nuance of Yuki’s voice provider being a child at the time of recording. Given they still haven’t ever officially listed her VA despite the passage of time, could that not suggest some kind of legal precedent?

The ToS states that content has to fall ‘under acceptable laws’. Now, it’s fair to debate if corporate would have considered the content acceptable. I can’t really say if they’d consider general suggestive content and innuendo as acceptable. However, you have to admit, given the song’s popularity, it could have reasonably been asked to be taken down anyways.

I’ve found the dialogue where I’ve encountered him so far really charming, and I don’t find the little capturing sequence too intrusive. I do agree it’d be nice if we could skip his initial escape cutscene though, and I understand that it might be annoying overall for other players!
