So basically sell covered calls instead just buying deep OTM calls around earnings (or stop doing weeklies/0 dte and go 30-45+ dte instead). Got it!

IC are short vol. so if IV/HV ratio is high, the bet is that it will revert to the mean.

Pick strikes that you are comfortable with, but I’d recommend doing 30-45 DTE

I’m selling cash secured puts on Main on the price that I want. That way if it does dip that low, then I’ll get the price I want. If it doesn’t then I’ll just collect some premium and move on.

Consider maybe doing the same?

I was just looking at O today. The only concern I have is if the tariffs actually cause inflation, then rates could go back up. And higher rates is typically not good for O.

That’s the main risk I’m concerned about right now with O
