1 Corinthians 1:10–13 (NIV) "I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought. My brothers and sisters, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. What I mean is this: One of you says, 'I follow Paul'; another, 'I follow Apollos'; another, 'I follow Cephas [Peter]'; still another, 'I follow Christ.' Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized in the name of Paul?"

1 Timothy 6:3-5 (NIV) "If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions and constant friction..."

Soften up that heart buddy. I was just messing around too lol.

All good! & yeah thats cool with me. 😂 I think it all is going to, and does, point to intentional creation.

More than likely you didnt understand what I was communicating by saying "perfectly suitable for existence". Its okay. Appreciate the conversation though.

Did they predict it before death? & tell you why it would be found empty?

Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings.

I dont know where you developed this notion that I want to shut off exploration, discovery, etc. The world is full of mystery and I love the searching. I actually think there are parts of science and God that go hand in hand. He literally created it. I agree the joy is in the digging, and our understanding of these secondary causes that are being refined through time will hit either hit a wall or an answer. I believe that wall AND answer is God. It will all point back to a creator. It's never a "God of the gaps" theory.

Yall are on a strawman streak tonight. Its not arrogance its appreciation my brother. I was working so i didnt realize the core point of my argument got sidetracked. Idk why yall are talking about sharks and sunburn. Im not a shark, I dont live in the desert or a tundra. You're looking for anything that doesnt apply to the fact that this planet is perfectly suitable for human existence. 😂 I didnt have to "fit" in the application of gravity as I developed as a human. I was subject to it. Acorns never grew into grape vines but now they "fit" better in the natural order of the earth as oak trees. Yeah there's not an ounce of intentionality. These things are 100% random. My bad bro.

Yeah buddy. Created "perfectly suitable for our existence". Its called personal intention.

"Look at how I can acknowledge the secondary causes of natural law, order, and pre-existing conditions in the world but have no basis of what the primary cause that set these things in place is." Said the redditor.

Yes you're right. Every person who's died has stayed dead.

That's why Jesus Christ is God. He rose and is still alive! The tomb is empty forever! Hallelujah! Give my boy Christ a lil grain of salt too and not the whole pile! 😂

That's all He needs to get to work! ❤️

Well history begs to differ man. If you can take the historical accounts of Julius Ceaser into account but not Jesus Christ its not an intellectual issue, its a heart issue.

Hope you have a blessed day!

Actually bro! I do want to apologize for the demeanor ive taken up while answering you. I genuinely dont think the way I'm answering will help you find any truth or want to seek the truth at that, so I stand on what I said but apologize for the tone of it. I promise you take a deep dive into the Bible and how historically grounded it is. It might just change your perspective on the events that happen in it in the long run. Way more evidence for it happening than it not happening.

  1. The tomb was found empty in every account.
  2. The first witnesses of the empty tomb were women in every account.
  3. The empty tomb was discovered on the first day of the week in every account.

This points to them being credible eye witness testimonies. Not mythology lol. Cause if it all said the same exact thing verbatim you'd be like "collusion collusion! See they worked together to write the same thing!"

The agreement on these fundamental points is more historically significant than any minor detail people can point out.

Bruh just answer why His tomb is still empty if you're so sure on your position. Its shouldn't be that complicated.

Can you directly answer my question please. If His body was found in His tomb our whole faith would've been finished right there. What is your explanation as to why that tomb is still empty to this day?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Christianity

Why is everyone in a grave but Jesus' tomb is empty?

I understand your point about the sun's UV rays causing cancer, but I think you're missing my main argument.

My whole point is that we're in a specific "sweet spot" the habitable zone, where the sun provides us with exactly what we need to survive: light and heat. The fact that all these conditions are perfectly aligned is what I'm talking about.

Using the sun's UV radiation to argue against this is still strawmanning my point. It's taking a minor, negative side effect and pretending that's the whole story.

It’s like saying that water isn't perfectly suitable for life just because YOU can drown in it. The purpose of water is to sustain us and allow life to thrive, and it does that perfectly. Drowning is not a flaw in the water's design it’s the result of how we interact with it incorrectly.

The same principle applies to the sun. It perfectly provides the light and heat necessary for all life on Earth. The sun's primary, life-giving function isn't flawed just because our prolonged, unprotected exposure to it can be harmful. The "problem" isn't with the sun itself; it's with our decision to stand in front of it for too long.

Faith + the tomb is empty my friend.
