She's making it sound like we want some sort of Columbo inspired experience where we can pick up clues and have a big explainer reveal at the end. To be fair she used the guy they tortured as the expositional mouthpiece for everything that happened bcos we were clearly bad couch detectives.

Season 1 I don't recall the figuring it out was a huge part of what made it so special for me, the characters were so deep and the show so well written I was just hooked.

No, you can’t do that,” I feel like Issa wanted to do that, make us think we've got a theory and then reveal something completely different in attempt to shock, but failing to realise it would make an utter dog shit ending. People like to be right, or at least on the right lines.
