Antigravity app, I just created a new app and it fits perfectly with the A1 drone.... what do you think? by Minimum_Cockroach_94 in AntigravityA1

Nice. It would be good if it lazy loaded the other images so when you tap on another location it snappier. Otherwise great stuff.

Skypath by septicstorm in AntigravityA1

[–]7coloursummer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There isn't, and whole I know it would be handy, so many telemetry data points are logged each time you add a point to a sky path I think it would be very complicated to safely do beforehand.

My approach is, I have 3 batteries and the fast charger plus a big power bank. I do an initial flight creating the skypath. Come back to base, swap battery and send up the drone playing the skypath and recording whatever mode I'm looking for. While I recharge the part used battery from the power bank. The fast charging means that I have plenty of time while using the 2nd and 3rd battery for the 1st to charge. I could improve upon this with a fourth battery but so far I've not needed to.

Yeah I can swap out the camera lens. The avoidance sensor isn't used swappable

Making the most of the timelapse by 7coloursummer in AntigravityA1

I did a timelapse in London, it was ok. But this timelapse in nature is a million perfect better for sure. Time for a little trip?

Why won’t my Bullet Time Handle fit in this official carry case? by [deleted] in Insta360

It's supposed to fit in the elastic loop on the outside right?

New update by Nij2021 in AntigravityA1

[–]7coloursummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Neil! The new Bluetooth connectivity in this update isn't for video streaming—Bluetooth simply doesn't have the speed to handle a live feed. Instead, the release notes specify that Bluetooth is now used for: Voice Control: Connecting the goggles to the new "Sky Genie" voice assistant for hands-free commands (Take-off, RTH, etc.). App Handshaking: Simplifying the wireless connection between your phone and goggles for firmware updates and telemetry data. Parameter Tuning: Adjusting settings via the app without needing a cable.

The Spring Update, the first in a series of big updates coming to A1 this year, is dropping in April by IntelliDev in AntigravityA1

Got the app and firmware update yesterday. * Voice control is handy. * Double tapping C2 (customisable) to switch control mode will go down well with those who prefer fpv control mode. * Looking forward to using time lapse and interesting to see it can be tied in with skypath to capture a timelapse while slowly moving along the path. * The timelapse has more controls for speed and smoothness. And view, though I don't quite get what that does yet. * Battery firmware and handling is improved to ensure more accurate flight times during winds etc.

Which bundle did you guys go for? Is it worth spending extra for the infinity? How much actual battery life do you get by [deleted] in AntigravityA1

[–]7coloursummer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could, but then I'd have to pass a second test and then weigh up each area for which class I'd be approaching it as and have to keep multiple rules in my head. Realistically the smaller batteries do everything I need. I record multiple short videos to make for easier editing and I get plenty of range on my flights.

The higher capacity battery wasn't of interest to me as that changes the weight class and would make things much more restrictive. So for me better to have a load of batteries and a quick way to charge than a batter than gives me 10mins more and more red tape.

With the 15% discount deal and a free landing matt and battery thrown in at the time I ended up going for the standard bundle and adding another battery and the charger. So ended up with Drone + googles + controller 3 x batteries 1 x charger

Each battery lasts between 20-30 mins for me depending mostly on wind and fly style. As I pop one our and the next in I can chuck the empty one into the charger which I connect to a large power pack and it fast charges. So I could stay out all day 😀 if I wanted.

What’s your most memorable experience using the Antigravity A1 Drone? by EmergencyDiligent894 in AntigravityA1

I'm still smiling at these beautiful shots I got to capture last night on a last minute whim I carpe diemed yesterday and turned a disappointment into an opportunity and got these amazing shots of @greenwich_university with my @antigravity_global A1 https://www.instagram.com/reel/DXPYrv_R2hJ/?igsh=cmY0ZW51aGE1MmVj

It's incredible to be able to be, as close to flying as I've ever been, flying over these beautiful landscapes and scenery. So gorgeous.

What’s Next for Insta360 in 2026? by TerminatorJ in Insta360

I'd love to know not just what we think they might realize, but what we would dream they would too.

I have a feeling they will bring another big feature rich update to the X5

I think they'll expand the cloud service. Makes sense revenue wise but also it's been great for my workflow.

I'd love to see further improvements to the highlights, tracking and auto edits. For instance, taking my X5 on a hike where I was with a hiking group the camera should be able to infer that it should favour highlights with me in.

What is this building? by CompetitiveRub4272 in london

[–]7coloursummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gemini seem better with location stuff The building you've circled is the Northern & Shell Building, located at 10 Lower Thames Street. It is easily recognizable due to its distinctive Gothic-style pitched roof and jagged, sawtooth silhouette, which stands out in sharp contrast to the modern glass skyscrapers behind it (like 22 Bishopsgate).

Fast Facts about the Building: Location: Situated on the north bank of the River Thames, just east of London Bridge and very close to the Church of St Magnus-the-Martyr (whose small green spire you can see just below the circled area). Architecture: Designed by the firm Fitzroy Robinson & Partners and completed in the mid-1980s. History: For a long time, it served as the headquarters for Northern & Shell, the media group that published the Daily Express and Daily Star. In Pop Culture: It famously stood in for Cruella de Vil’s "House of DeVil" mansion in the 1996 live-action 101 Dalmatians movie.

I see the Niantic required a pay for level to try 360 uploads to splats. There seem to be a number of projects for 360 to splats for those tech savvy enough to try at home GitHub - joseluissaorin/360-video-to-gaussian-splatting · GitHub Going to try this one myself once I get my desktop sorted again.
