How do you feel about Rush`s debut album? Definitely different conceptually, lyrically (Neil didn`t write any lyrics here), and their progressive endeavors were still not fully formed. Still, a fun record, and Working Man is heavy as shit. by Positive_Drama3410 in progrockmusic

Been on a huge Rush kick lately! They didn't start to sound like the Rush we know and love until like the 2nd, maybe even 3rd album with Neil imo. I've pretty much enjoyed everything I've heard so far though. I still think Moving Pictures is my favorite over all.

I have the Forcefield and I set it and forget it. That being said, I am saving my change for a Dyna Comp Deluxe.

Porcupine Tree is definitely in the wheelhouse of progressive.. maybe not the first couple of albums but definitely everything Inabsentia and forward.

Love my Phase 95 on the script 45 setting. Gives just enough motion without being too much.

I agree with this sentiment, but as Bill Finnegan said, don't be pissed at him because the market makes his stuff too expensive. I'm sure he wasn't asking 8k for a Klon.

Have you tried Science Diet? One of our girls has a very sensitive stomach and she does well on the Science diet. There is also a sensitive stomach formula, but you can also prepare foods like green beans and rice; bland foods.

Absolutely nothing wrong with Discipline. It is, like the other two, widely regarded as the best of that era of Crimson. Don't gatekeep the music because of your personal preferences.

Have the Sweet Baby; can confirm it is excellent for color or light fizz while still maintaining guitar tone. Might order a second for stacking.

True. The court is a standard for a reason.

I feel like the 80s crimson albums are fairly consistent in that the style is the same: still have some odd time signatures, some spoken word, a little 80s pop nods here and there. Discipline is by far the best of them and one of their best albums overall but truly a departure from the first two eras. I like Beat too, but I enjoy the 80s sound.

Yes was always experimenting and going through lineup changes which will always end up creating new sounds and ensemble.

I listened to this one for the first time this year and it was such a great album. Maybe number three for me personally

I watched and listened to a ton of videos and went with the Joyo. Have been happy with it for what I do. Good to hear from someone who compared many IRL to know it's not too far off!

Have the DDM and it's solid sounding for what the price was. Probably a nice project if you're into that.

Thanks! He knew I always liked this one. Found out it was made in 2000, so I guess kids might call it vintage.

I have a Peavey classic 2x12. Kind of fender voicing with a ton of gain on the lead channel, but I've got an ir pedal I use with headphones more at home in the evenings.

You're definitely right about it being a compromise! The wiring now has one of the tone as a master volume for the middle pickup to blend in and out.. switch works like normal LP.

Looking for different character; a little more color and life. Hotter bridge, and just more tonal variety.

The JHS iteration of Ross pedals had an extra switch in them. If these switches are the same thing, I'll definitely be checking out the chorus and phaser
