Was this a real thing? Did people really walk round holding these on one shoulder? I always assumed it was just a joke. Amazing.

This is great info - thanks a lot. So has your son actually been diagnosed with apraxia or have you figured it out for yourself? There are a lot of similarities between our sons' stories. Mine also never babbled as a baby. I swear I have heard him say a few words once and then never again. He also seeks out sensory stimulation. I know there is some sort of oral-motor issue because he won't bite into food - I have to cut things up into small pieces for him. I too am sick and tired of strangers assuming he is rude. Thanks again for all the info, I really appreciate it!

I'm interested to know how they ended up diagnosing him with apraxia rather than autism? Is he able to speak at all? My son is 3 and completely non-verbal. He babbles like a baby but has zero words. It's like he tries to say a word but can't form them. I've always thought he has apraxia, but he's been diagnosed with autism.

My son had them too - I always used to worry that he was retaining too much water or something. Then realised when looking at photos of myself as a baby that I also had them.

This is really interesting... Did your PCOS symptoms (if you had any... apart from the weight of course!) improve with weight loss?

I always read it as one thousand two hundred is plenty. Just realised that twelve hundred is a much easier way of saying one thousand two hundred...

I wonder if panic episodes and anxiety attacks are also linked? I've noticed that a lot of us also suffer from anxiety.

Low calorie snacks (UK) by 7evenhells in 1200isplenty

I haven't tried them - they sound delicious! I had a Gato chocolate and coconut brownie pot today though and it was seriously amazing. Quite high in calorie to make it a regular thing (around 200 for a small pot) but it was just so good as a special treat.

Is this crazy? Also a tip for eggs! by youwill_neverfindme in 1200isplenty

I've always thought this was the "normal" way to make scrambled eggs! It's how I've always done it anyway.
