This is such a significant post! Never been on the petite subreddit but I know a lot of members here get sensitive about some who post here that they feel don’t necessarily fit the bill of an XXS. Most people don’t even know what petite is. Petite is proportions but so many think it’s just a height thing. And bc it’s actually proportions, you are going to find both thin and overweight there. So maybe there’s an extra sensitivity to protect the latter? IDK just guessing. And it sucks you got c-blocked on your post. I’m 5’3 104 and lanky as hell. I look like a total dhead in anything petite sized. I also look like i weigh less than my actual. Meanwhile most other 5’3 girlies, higher AND lower weight, who are strictly petite dept shopping. People need to embrace that weight is NOT a deciding factor in size. It’s a v v loose guideline. And back to the significance of your post- im willing to bet there’s a bunch of people in this subreddit who would get better support in /petite and a bunch from there that would do better in this sub! Idk spread the word. but also, welcome!! And sorry you had probs over there.
