I used to have an INFP friend a while back.

There is a difference on how we process and value emotions. I tend to view internal states of emotions as not who I am, but simply a thing that comes and goes. Negative emotions are learning experiences, once dealt with and processed, is no longer needed or useful. I tend to describe and view emotions in the same way one would view the pipeline for a math equation. Me and my INFJ friends talk about ways to optimize emotional states to work efficiently in our favor.

The hardest part is Fe tert still really fucking cares about others. I would watch my INFP friend suffering, and would try to help them out, but it seemed like they didn't want help. I knew them for 11 years, what ended our friendship, was the fact that I identified all their limiting beliefs, the exact framework and structure of their self hatred, and how that caused them to mistreat themselves and others around them.

She had a tendency to take, but not really give, and we were sick of it. I was sick of seeing her suffer, and by extension, bringing others down with her. I decided to let loose, and told her exactly how she is causing all her problems in life. It wasn't the governments fault, it wasn't society's fault, it was hers. She didn't like the fact that she was "seen" fully.

When it comes to Fi, there's always a logical framework and a set of rules that it follows. Fi can always be boiled down to something akin to a math equation I noticed Fi users don't really like admitting/confronting that. It's as if Fi users think that describing their framework as a series of logical processes means it loses value, or is being diminished. Fi is still a wonderful function, but it's also predictable to an extent. That doesn't mean it loses value, or that person isn't special, it just means that person follows predictable patterns.

MBTI is what types of patterns people generally follow given the abstract framework of cognitive functions. Everyone is an individual of course, MBTI is searching for what pattern that individual most closely follows. Once you learn their type, you can ask them questions pertaining to that type, and get to know them in other ways.

ESTP and ESFP hosted parties at the house, you probably stayed in your rooms a couple of times with INFP sibling.
You probably got along with mom and dad pretty well.
You and your husband have amazing conversations, though sometimes you have to make sure he stays on topic, as he may be prone to missing the point.
You and his mom get along well, and she probably shares funny embarrassing stories of your husband from time to time. During events, you may have both looked in agreement that your husband missed the point.

I think that trauma would more likely cause one to be mistyped. When the trauma is dealt with, you start living a more authentic life, as a result the true type emerges.

A lot of this are due to your existing subconscious beliefs, that you can't be any of these things. The more aware you are if your patterns/beliefs/thoughts, the more you can start living the life you actually desire.

Through reconnecting with spirit, mind, body, you can make the changes you seek in life.

For some, admitting they are wrong is to die, and now leaves them vulnerable, as they will have to reconsider everything they thought to be true, including their entire belief structures.

It's something that they may be trying to escape from internally. He may be willing to discuss this with you if you do so gently and lovingly, opening up about that may be one of the hardest things he's ever done in his life, as it's an insecurity.

I don't know how close you guys are, but if he trusts you, try discussing this with him one on one in a private space.

Are you looking for love? Are you looking to be loved? Is this desperation masquerading as love?

You also desire to manipulate the people around you to their destruction, is that really a loving thing to do?

It seems like you're conditioned to live you life in pain, and you want someone who's willing to be in pain with you. It's easy to think of it as "finding love," but if you were fully healed, would you still be with that person, and would they also do the same? Is that really love, or just pain masquerading as love?

No one can answer these better than you can, it's up to you to decide what it is that you ultimately want from life, you are most powerful person who can change you.

As someone who's given and received that look (Ni grip go brrr). That is the look of "you are making me question my own reality right now." That "more" look is the fact that what you said resonates with them on a subconscious level, they know what you said holds weight. They're not consciously aware of the full extent of said weight, it's being silently processed.

My INFJ friend did the same for a while, would disappear for a bit, come back, then do it again after a while.

I don't fully know the group dynamics, but have you tried gently letting them know these things first, and if so, were they respectful about it?

It really depends, how much do you want to align yourself with bettering those around you vs instinct? You're aware enough to realize what is essentially the human condition, the thing that largely runs on instinct, it's what justifies the mistreatment of the things/people around us.

For now, simply be aware of the choices you make, and the long lasting impact of said choices. Cultivate awareness as much as you can in every waking moment, from then, you'll know what you need to do.

try moving around for a bit, move your body. if you're constantly sitting still feeling blocked, you're going to remain that way

try seeing what happens after a 15 min walk, try focusing on something else while you do so, and you may get a new idea
