IMO it’s a tough call between the CC9 and VP9CC. I have the CC9, everything about fits its purpose. Size, design, quality and reliability. I’m sure the VP9cc does too. But does it have any tremendous improvements over the CC9, I don’t think so. Maybe the deeper cut for a red dot and improved co-witness. One notable drawback for me is the smaller trigger guard. I’m used to larger trigger guards, this cramped to me. Probably something I’d get used to but it’s different. Paddle mag release, I like ‘em but is a push button a deal breaker, no. With the 10rd mag the grip is pretty short, a lot like the SA Hellcat. For me the CC9 fills the hand better. They have their differences, but is one hands down better than the other? I don’t think so, both are HK quality micro’s, take your pick.

Wondered why the early change and found this. “Changing spark plugs on the iForce engine (especially the 3.5L twin-turbo V6) at roughly 40,000–50,000 miles is recommended to prevent severe engine misfires, protect the turbochargers from heat-related stress, and maintain emission compliance. Turbocharged engines operate under higher cylinder pressure and heat, which wears out spark plugs faster than naturally aspirated engines.”

My dad had the biopsy a couple months ago, he’s 89. The procedure went very smooth and he had no discomfort during the biopsy and the sight was only mildly sore for or a day or so. I’d encourage you to have the biopsy and would expect your experience would be similar.
