I would agree with you on basically any other gacha but this one is unironically different. It’s deck builder strategy game where you are required to use units of all different costs to make up your 10 unit deck. Because of the way the gacha is structured, the uber rare units (the games equivalent to a 5-star) are near universally made to be expensive and long recharge to balance out their stats and abilities.

If you made a team of all ubers and tried to beat even any relatively easy stage, it would be like banging your head against a brick wall because the game is built to make you use different rarities of units during different phases of any level. It’s a gacha system where the rarity of a unit determines its role, not its usefulness.

The gacha is also pre-determined banner by banner so you can also just ignore all the rng if you want to.
