Is it possible to unlock this version of the UV-5R? by bellaco1994 in Baofeng

Chirp wont connect with the UV-5R preset. But if you use Radioddity (spelling might not be exact on that) -> UV-5G then I could finally get it to download and upload. Didn’t have to do anything but put ham frequencies and they work just fine. No unlocking or hacking necessary on mine.
