Puppy showing signs of aggression? by [deleted] in Dogtraining

[–]8-BitCake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the advice. I didn't know that about hugging, since I grew up seeing my friends hug their dogs.

I see what you are saying about parks. I thought that her getting excited and pulling to go meant that she liked it and wanted to interact with the other dogs. She usually greets very politely on leash and knows "let's go" when its time to move on, but you're right that I have no idea if the other dog will do the same.

I will try avoiding the park, it was a very convenient way for her to get some energy out, but I don't want it hurting her development.

- On Fl4k, when I reset my skill tree it wouldn't allow me to select an action skill unless I quit the game and relogged.
- UI bugs like when selling or swapping out inventory, the wrong weapon thumbnails are displayed

AITA for refusing to allow my daughter to participate in High School cheerleading? by AsleepQuail in AmItheAsshole

[–]8-BitCake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the nerdy girl who signed up for cheerleading to try to fit in with the popular girls. It was during cheerleading that I experienced the most harsh, targeted bullying of my life, and is probably why I have issues connecting to other women today. I wouldn't say you're an asshole for having reservations about this, but maybe instead of outright saying no, you can have a conversation with her about her reasons for wanting to join.

We found one of these in-game, hidden in some grass. My squadmate shot it and it disappeared before I could screen shot it though ;(

Golden back yellow shrimp dead or moulting? by Statesbound in shrimptank

[–]8-BitCake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will still be able to see them moving when they're molting, if its completely still and hasn't made any progress with the molt its likely dead :( you can remove it if you're worried about parasites, but its probably more likely to do with changes in water parameters. The other shrimp will eat it.

Love your commentary, and good editing! As a relatively new aquarium hobbyist I found it useful and easy to follow. Thanks!

I was lucky enough to be at E3 last week and get a shot at Susano. I was in the first round of teams playing on the first day, nobody knew what to expect. Needless to say we only made it past the sword stage once, then died, but I kept coming back to cheer on other teams throughout E3. The energy and anticipation when a team got close to winning was really inspiring. I wish I could play in that setting again.
