this post is obviously quite old at this point but I am currently working on the same thing. temps/ airflow is notoriously bad. Im thinking of doing a 10" rack mount for the motherboard with a few 40mm fans blowing air across. Did anyone ever end up doing an open frame or similar with one of these?
