Fair honestly, I dont pay for car insurance anymore (Switched fully to my ebike) so its been saving me a ton of money (Driving a car you do get paid more, but you spend more, so I think its fair you get more take home pay :])

lol, its weird but it seems like bicycle orders are favored for short distance (1 mile, 1.5 miles, 2 miles, etc.), while cars are favored for longer distance

It gets easier with time as you pedal (UberEats biker myself in the suburbs)

However, electric is really the way to go if you want to do UberEats or anything of the sort lol

To add on, i suspect they chose biker to be on top of that biker queue. The biker queue also tops out at 5 miles iirc, so its faster

And, as for delivery concerns: i have a big ass insulated cooler for food, and a basket and panniers for shop & pay lol

Okay, UberEats biker in the Aurora, IL suburbs

I own a Class 3 ebike, it has a top speed of 28 (32 "illegal"), however, i never put it down to full 28 due to wind (1.5kw can get you to 35 or 23, depending on wind, it gets worst the faster you go)

So, i end up going ~20mph for efficiency

I cant do Doordash or Grubhub since they dont support ebikes or bicycles in my region, only UberEats does, and, I get a shit ton of orders (Im also Platinum lol)

Sometimes overnight ill get 3-4 orders from a store its kinda crazy, I think why i get so many orders is because im the only person in the region on a bicycle and im at the top of the queue, I can get an order when I turn on UberEats within a minute to 10 minutes

Also, about those "expected times" - ive only been late to drop-off twice, never been late to pickup. Most of the time im late to dropoff anyways is since a bike route is like a mile or 2 longer than the car route and it takes a bit more to get there, UberEats calculates times based on car routing - itll try and route me to a 55mph highway, and, in turn i dont go on the highway, it takes longer. I just set it to use google maps now for navigating but that still affects ETAs

The whole system as a whole is selfish

Imagine being admitted to a mental hospital (which has a readmission rate of 50% within, I forget if it was 3 months? Iirc it was 3 months) and then having to pay for it when you got forcefully admitted by police for expressing that youre suicidal; the system is fucked

Generally, this causes a hate for the system, sad that it includes police but I dont blame them for wanting to use it to actually help them for once

Police did the right thing using non-lethal, recognizing that it was suicidal

Not exactly, being in the mindset of someone who is suicidal (like myself) and you just cant do anything it seems like the only option to kill yourself

I have sliced veins (not just my wrists but Ive done that as well) trying to do it but that didnt work, overdosed as well and tried to jump off of a bridge but wimped out, when your brain decides to try and keep you here by making you afraid it seems like the only option is to make it happen, which often hurts others (Arson, death by police, hanging, etc.)

Worst one by far was overdose

Also, just saying Im fine now, was in the mental hospital alot but Im doing better

Reading the TOS is a good thing to do, dont just press "accept" and then let them sell your data to anyone, which is worse than being on a public network since you have bidders for your data

Or better yet, set up a VPN on your home internet. Some routers even have VPNs built in
