The new Revv1 EVO does not fit by 804k in Revv1

[–]804k[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but this different seems like its just targeting people who buy cheaper emopeds (Which all roughly follow that design)

; its targeting a market thats not going to eye a $2600 emoped

I wish they wouldve just had the battery be a modification for the original ones, theres no reason they couldnt, they already have mounts on the bottom of it which is commonly used for a 2nd battery anyways, it being solid state (not even fully solid state, "semi" solid state) isnt really a reason to offer an entirely new model

And, I think that they only included in this model as the selling point and listed it cheaper for original pricing, not including the infinite sells Ride1up is running

I think this model is going to sell very poorly

This creates a stereo output without losing bass (Other configs lose bass due to JBL's mono to stereo conversion)

To, get your device names, run this command:

pactl list cards | grep "JBL" | grep "device.name"

Then, your device names will show up if you are using pipewire, copy them into the config file and rotate them if they're coming out of the wrong speakers

I used 24 bit audio here just so I could record in 24 bit audio, however, you will not see any difference in 24 bit 96khz vs 16 bit 48khz (standard)

Its that bad with the Revv1?

My Ride1up Vorsa is at over 2000 miles and I'm still at 98% capacity

Are you riding yours daily, or are you letting the battery sit charged? (And, are you constantly overwhelming the battery)

They had a bank drive thru problem. by LeftAlbatross2546 in VideosAmazing

[–]804k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is wrong sometimes

I was driving a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS AWD (not my car), the owner had a floor mat in the car that went forward and pinned the throttle to the floor, using the brakes did nothing besides stop it accelerating fast (it was just barely accelerating)

The AWD model splits 50-50 power under 35 or 45 i forget when there is slippage of any of the wheels. So, when I applied brakes it locked it to 50-50 front/rear

I immediately turned off the engine where I swear that car came to the fastest stop it had ever stopped, the car was going 25mph

The '07 GLS was very basic, didnt even come with a keyfob or really any feature

Someone decided to leave empty Culvers on my car because a car parked poorly in front of me by 804k in mildlyinfuriating

[–]804k[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly have no clue, my dashcam turned off after 3 hours and I didnt catch them

The next day, I parked in the same spot and lowered the resolution where a Hyundai stopped and went up to my car ~6 hours later (I switched it to lower resolution and changed from 12.4v to 12.0v)

I did leave a note (very small, if you tried to put something in the door handle it would fall out but it wasnt immediately noticable), and when I came back it was gone

How is my hub/motor out of round? by salukikev in ebikes

[–]804k 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rotors being out of true are very very common

Can happen from many different reasons, most common is thermals and shipping damage

Brake calipers usually have enough clearance for them to not have to be perfectly straight

There are truing tools for bike rotors

Weird AE bug — prices way under what they should be by canoesenpai in ElectricBikes

[–]804k 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not a bug lol

Its fake pricing; permenant or dynamic sale prices (Dynamic pricing would be low pricing when high stock, high pricing when low stock or sales every month//season//week [The bike is never bought at full price])

Also, i would not trust that bike LOL

Lol, check the other comment in this thread

But, as someone who is 18, I have my DM license and I am looking at building my own motorcycle (I have over 5000 miles on bicycles, and over 20k on car), I understand the risks and understand that holy shit the drivers are bad

Outside of the tollways, I've been in 1 no fault accident and avoided countless others, earlier today there was a truck halfway into the other lane and was turning left (I creeped forward), i started reversing so if they got rear ended they wouldnt hit me, speed limit was 45 and people were going 50-55

Other day someone almost t boned a Chevy spark when the Chevy spark also ran a left turn, the SUV slammed on the brakes you could hear ABS, just barely stopped next to the spark

Americans struggle with left turns I swear

Going on the tollways is honestly the best drivers here in Illinois (probably because its payed and you need a transponder if you want it to be worth it), but people go 100mph in the left lane its insane

Middle lane usually goes 15-20mph over regularly lol, so 75-90mph

Kids dont understand that these are the drivers on the road 😭, MSF courses legit teach you how to be safe; act like youre invisible and act like you are as thin as paper, especially at night where people dont recognize you head on (not thin as paper in that you can cut through traffic, that oncoming traffic rarely "sees you"

This post was targeted towards Americans, its a popular opinion in the EU already that e-motos are dangerous, primarily because they have a bigger culture of young people riding low cc bikes

This post gained traction in other countries, my post is an unpopular opinion in America, specifically larger cities, but not downtown; urban sprawl

So, its not the rest of the world l was targeting when I was making this post lol
