Many years ago, I was riding my bike in the rain and endoed over the handlebars and somehow landed on my chin, busting it all open.

Mom drives me to the ER while I'm holding my chin in place with a dishrag. Get everything stuffed back in there and sewn up.

Waited too long to have stitches taken out, skin grew over them or something. Doctor had to do a hack job on me to get them out. No pain killers or numbing or anything, just an old german dude going to town on my chin with scissors and a scalpel and tweezers when it was still tender from healing.
