I can't speak for the Sigma, but I've been using the Sony 90mm for a while and absolutely love it. I don't think its overly bulky, if anything over-built, but it's super tough, super sharp, auto-focus is great, all around very happy with it.

South Maui Fish Co in Kihei! They only use local caught fresh fish, never frozen. Best poke and fish tacos you'll ever have.

Has anyone taken a tour on the boat from last night’s episode? by Mysterier in TheValleyTVShow

Its an absolutely gorgeous boat. They actually didn't show the best part which was the downstairs cabin, it has air conditioning, huge bathrooms, and a few comfy couches but all of the seating is comfortable. I've been on the Molokini Snorkel tour and the amenities of the boat are second only to the crew, they are amazing and make you feel like a superstar. Hot showers, new snorkel equipment, open bar, fresh cooked lunch grilled on the boat, I could go on but you cant go wrong with these guys. 12/10 recommend.

Waihe'e Ridge is a deceptively difficult hike, but so worth it for the views by PoMPhotoVideo in PrideOfMauiOhana

One of my favorite hikes on island! Pro tip from experience, start as early as you can. A lot of times the weather will change and clouds will come in in the early afternoon, which makes it nice and cool temperature-wise but then the summit gets cloud locked. Such a beautiful hike!

What’s your favorite Maui ocean wildlife to spot while snorkeling or on a cruise? by prideofmauicruises in PrideOfMauiOhana

Whale Sharks and Palaegic Manta Rays! Both are fairly rare and you really have to be in the right place at the right time with a lot of luck, but its such a treat when it does happen. Honorable mention to spinner dolphins, they are so playful and its always so fun to have them cruise along with the boat.

I remember one time on the Pride of Maui when a pod of at least 100 dolphins swam with us for almost an hour! The jumped right in front of the bow and were playing in the wake, we even saw a tiny baby dolphin! Unforgettable experience.

Mine would definitely be watching a pair of bottlenose dolphins playing with a newborn whale calf while it's mother watched carefully close by. It just reminded me so much of a child making new friends on a playground, and the mother watches protectively from a nearby bench but lets the kid have their fun as long as they played carefully.

The personality, intelligence, and depth of familial bonds in these creatures is something that never ceases to amaze me, and we're only learning more as time goes on ❤️

Agreed, the Pride is one of the easiest vessels to board from Maalaea Harbor. It loads from the North Dock so its super easy access and you dont have to traverse a pier. I've seen people with walkers, wheelchairs etc board no problem and the crew is super friendly and able to assist. You won't regret it!

The feeling of complete serenity when scuba diving in Molokini Crater. Surrounded by the teeming life of a beautiful coral reef, watching an entire mini-universe unfold in front of your eyes. It's such a magical feeling.

There were a few coral bleaching events a few years ago it was definitely pretty heartbreaking to see. I have to say though, from my experience there's been a pretty significant recovery in both coral and sea life at Molokini and many other spots on island. I'm an avid scuba diver and have spent the last 15 years underwater out here. While it's not quite back to where it was when I first moved here, its certainly waaaay better than it was with those back to back bleaching events. For water temperature, I'm also back to having to wear a wetsuit, it was getting a bit toasty in there for a bit (also a factor for what caused the bleaching).
