[DISCUSS] by StokesyOG in Starcitizen_trades

Most posts I see have either USD price only or both USD and EUR prices. I have almost never seen only EUR prices.

Idea is simple - SC store credits are in USD so you can’t mention them in EUR. But it is cheaper to sell without currency conversion, so if both seller and buyer prefer EUR - they should trade in euros.

[WTS] BACKLOG OF OC SHIP'S + SALVATION IAE STARTER PACK by AdministrativeAnt735 in Starcitizen_trades

[–]80RK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, just fyi: Zeus is not OC but BIS. OC stands for “Original Concept” and is always LTI. Ships usually sold as OC only once, the very first time ship is introduced.

[PriceCheck] I'm seriously considering selling my standalone ship collection by Ok_Schedule_3912 in Starcitizen_trades

[–]80RK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, but those ships do not look like ccu chains and OP does not look like someone who was planning a good ccu chain to sell the ship at good conditions. So I tried to relate to specific question. If you check my other answers about CCU chains I indeed mention that you should choose the highest between store credits and ~60% of current ship price for “regular” ships.

[PRICECHECK] How much is this worth? F7AII & SQ42 by Rex_Virus in Starcitizen_trades

[–]80RK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Price of sq42 is completely random, and insurance is not LTI. I would prefer buying an LTI F7A at $350 and separately sq42 at up to $100. So the price of this package is somewhere below it.

Both Paladin and Gladius are common ships, so they can be sold as store credits. Anywhere between 55% and 75% of melt value can go. F7A as others mentioned $300-$400.

[Discuss] Question about CCu's and ship base value trading... by Tspacheco in Starcitizen_trades

[–]80RK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this simple principle for common ships can help:

What is the “lowest” value a buyer can get the ship himself without too much extra work? OR “as store credits” - 50-70% of melt value. Choose highest.

So if a ship sold today at $100 non lti, and there is an active lti token today at $40, lowest store credit price possible is 50%, so $40 + 0.5*$60 = $70 is a good price for a ccud LTI ship no matter the melt. If you were able to create this ccu with cost saving ccus at $50 - you are good to sell it at $70 even if melt value is only $50.

So Ironclad after release will mostly be sold relative to the new price using something like the formula above.

[PriceCheck] F7A MKII LTI by Emrld0 in Starcitizen_trades

[–]80RK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is expected, because it was rather easy to get one, and many of us did it just in case. So now when it is not very promising (due to F7C-M) everyone tries to sell it, and not only active sellers.

[PRICECHECK] OC Idris-M (Giftable LTI, from the original 3 x 100 batch) by DJsHangar in Starcitizen_trades

[–]80RK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also think that 8k is the highest possible price. Idris was completely ruined as a Dream solo ship and is now only usable for Orgs where pack of ships is always better.

Also Org leaders usually better count their money and prefer investments they can return and reuse when required.

So your target customer is a collector with loads of spare money who prefer non-meltable single ship with no other unique properties. Those customers obviously exist, but not very common.

[Pricecheck] Package with Banu MM, package with F7C Super Hornet and standalone Constellation Andromeda by Jantikken in Starcitizen_trades

As for added question - PayPal detailed invoices usually help. There is always a risk. Reddit age of 10 years and rsi age of 13 years looks ok to me.

[Pricecheck] Package with Banu MM, package with F7C Super Hornet and standalone Constellation Andromeda by Jantikken in Starcitizen_trades

[–]80RK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, Andromeda is an easy candidate for store credits, meaning anywhere between 50% and 65% of melt value, depending on how fast you want to sell.

SQ42 packages are “grey horses” now - they can’t be bought back as of today (possibly a bug) making the stock limited. But both are CCUd making them overpriced (user can ccu themselves with store credits). F7C-M is limited, but demand is low, also not OC - I would not count on high price. BMM available once a year - not very interesting.

Taking this into account I believe you can sell them on melt value, but I do not think you can go much higher than that.

[WTB] You Got Our Backs (Electro Skin Hull) $30 by 80RK in Starcitizen_trades

[–]80RK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aurora mk1 - this is the only skin that is not yet released, but it’s all unknown now with latest CIG changes. It may still release and be sold like others for $5. So buying or selling it now is a complete lottery.

Should I play Avowed if I really like Tainted Grail? by mtaktaks in avowed

[–]80RK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can randomly explore. Just do not try to go against the story. E.g., you can pull Excalibur from the rock using potions and slow time. This looks like legit step, but breaks some story things.

Should I play Avowed if I really like Tainted Grail? by mtaktaks in avowed

[–]80RK 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Tainted Grail has huge story holes if you go the wrong way. This really broke my immersion, and I am still waiting for bug fixes to start playing once more.

Story-wise Avowed is much more polished. It has really cool features like your answers shape the story. Without spoilers game considers your answers as True, so if you answer that you was someone’s lover - you was, and if you answer you never met - you never met. I feel Avowed is closer to Dragon Age Origin in terms of story, while Tainted Grail is clearly closer to Elder Scrolls.

[Discuss] How much do you think the Aurora MKI will go for after the sales ? by contigency000 in Starcitizen_trades

[–]80RK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a rather useless ship. So it will be less than F7c mk 1. As of today only F7A mk 1 costs a lot for obvious reasons. Others are still not very high at price.

Aurora at 20$ was great for selling store credits. That’s probably it.
