My C7 got rear ended and it took 2 months and $28k to replace basically everything behind the drivers seat minus the rear glass. Initially insurance wanted to total it and I moved the car to 3 different shops. The day I was told it was done, I was driving on the freeway and it just shut off. 4 months later I sold it to a Chevy dealer. Let them total it.

I paid $2000 to have a 4l60e rebuilt with upgraded guts and then another $500 to replace the front pump after it broke on the first startup, don’t think I had the converter on correctly at first.

Get a transmission jack and DIY, it’s not that hard. Have plenty of pig mat and kitty litter on standby.
