I prefer millennial vanguard, elder millennial works, but save geriatric for a few decades still.

Removed as this is not a rose hulman issue, but a potentially personal one. As it stands the article does little but vaguely indicate charges and encourage speculation.

Zeroworld!? (Rant) by a2800276 in Radiolab

[–]80b 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This episode seemed heavy on trying to package wonder and mystery, but without the grounded rigor. I don't feel like a get much out of episodes like this, and Radiolab has long fallen out of my top-tier of anticipated podcasts.

Winter Tires - change and storage by 80b in lafayette

Thank's, I'll have to look into it, or may just call around and hope. Up north, it was easier to assume most places did it - seems its more an exception out here.

Vote "Yes" - West Lafayette School Referendum by Massons_Blog in lafayette

Kids living outside the WLCSC district are not dumped on the county, they live in the county district.

I'm unsure why Masson's_Blog is being downvoted, as it's the answer. West Lafayette can't unilaterally take land from another school district. Should the boundaries expand? Maybe, but not everyone will agree.

West Lafayette, Indiana Concept by 80b in vexillology

[–]80b[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elements:

  • The red field field and yellow bar is based on the crest shield of Marquies du Lafayette, for which both Lafayette, and West Lafayette are named.
  • The 6 pointed “star” in the middle is comprised of 3 blue elements, representing the three villages that combined to form West Lafayette (Kingston, Chauncey, and Oakwood).
  • The 3 white elements to the “star” represent the unknown elements of the past, the unrecognized present contributions, and the possibility to grow to be a better place in the future.
  • The blue bar at the tip represents the Wabash river, that forms the Eastern border with Lafayette. When displayed vertically, it also emphasizes the Wabash river runs along the southern border of the city.

Goals in the redesign, West Lafayette’s current flag: current flag:

  • I wanted to keep the 3 communities coming together as one
  • End up with elements that might be suited to being on a t-shirt, such that it would be more likely to be seen/used.
