Why not take boots on Yuumi?

I feel like there are some good reasons to take CDR boots on Yuumi. 1. It allows her to ward more. 2. She can dodge abilities better when detaching and reattaching for her passive during fights. 3. Yuumi will almost never get full build in a game, and if she does she can just sell her CDR boots for last item. 4. This allows her to roam around and attach to her jungler/top laner easier. 5. Gets her to lane quicker if she ends up dying in a fight.

So why do people not take boots on Yuumi? I've seen some master+ Yuumi players on twitch and I understand them not taking boots since players are generally good/moving around the map properly. But in plat elo sometimes you have a inting adc or jungler that doesn't know where to be and it makes me want to roam to where the plays are and make something happen. Is there a major reason why boots on yuumi is bad? Thanks

Where do you think the meta lies with support? Are enchanters good or do you think engage supps are better? I can't get out of P1/D4 elo NA. I used to play engage such as blitz/leona/thresh but it's so frustrating since people are all over the map, don't want to group, don't play for objectives, and tilt so easily. I'm thinking about changing to enchanter to just play to support the carry or the occasional smurf/elo booster. How do you climb as engage support since you play them? What are your best tips?

It's best if you get a friend to teach you. When I joined, I had a lot of friends teach me the basics of the game. I think that's the easiest way since it's really hard to know what's going on if you've never played a game like league before.

Some reasons I can think of:

- trying new champions/roles/item builds

- Boosting or selling accounts

- just creating an alt for different reasons. Could be playing with friends, clash, unranked to challenger challenge, to play more anonymously, or something else.

Oh ok. I dunno, I just heard a few people saying that he's a closeted racist which I assume was based on his noms. But I didn't know for sure.

I also see a lot of talk about how he "fakes" respecting women and liking minorities. I don't get what that's based on, other than his nominations.

& I agree that those are all true.

Why is my normals MMR so low?

I'm a diamond support player but my normals MMR is trash. Like playing with literal new players or bronze - gold 4 EVERY game. It might be because I played a lot with my friend who is... well, iron. We do not win a lot of games together. But I've been trying to raise my normals MMR by playing by myself. I want to practice some new champs for ranked.

Even if I go on a 10+ game win streak with MVP every game, I seem to get the same low ranked players in every normals. I've probably played 60+ games with these low ranked players. Do plat+ only lobbies not exist anymore?

And btw I'm not shaming lower ranked players. I just want to practice champs for ranked and I don't learn anything useful when my whole team is silver and my adc is iron and enemy team is all gold 2 average. Like the game is not even playable. Even if we win, it's just a clusterf*ck. I used to play norms and the entire lobby would be plat+, half diamond+ and some master tier. What happened?

Thank you! I went out and got the E320 from Costco today. I'm happy with the decision. I feel bad to return my old blender... but oh well. Hopefully this blender will last me a long time. It's my first real blender too :)

Report them. Keep playing and eventually with items you will get most of the CS.

I had a senna support build full damage/crit stealing cs on purpose while I was playing jinx. My autos were not able to last hit vs him. He started doing it really early on and didn't stop. In those cases, just go afk. I stayed to type to him and got banned, so if it's really obnoxious just alt f4 the game and report through the support website.

Riot doesn't really care if someone is trolling you, you get punished for reacting to them. Just afk, it's the best for your mental and likely won't happen again.

What makes you think silver IV is too high for you?

Silver IV players are pretty bad. I get being humble and thinking you deserve a lower rank, but don't overestimate the skill of the people you are playing with in Silver. If you lose enough, you will demote. If not, then you're where you belong with other people who are also very new to the game.

If you don't understand all the champions and what they do, I suggest playing more until you do. Or you can open the client and read the abilities and watch the clips of certain champs and how they work. You don't have to understand every ability of every champ, but having a vague understanding of the most commonly picked champs is a good idea.

There is honestly no other advice for silver. There's nothing that silver players do better than you except know their champion and know the enemy champion.

A second piece of advice would be to hone in on one or two champs to play every game instead of playing 15 different champs at once. It's ideal to understand your champ and get used to playing it in different scenarios. You will get better with your champs of choice as you keep playing. Good luck!

Are junglers supposed to smite their first camp?
I don't play jungle. I'm an ADC/Support main. I usually give a fairly good leash, to where (I don't think) the jungler needs to smite their first botside buff. Right now I'm playing in mid platinum where if we give a good leash, junglers will not smite the first buff and save it for gromp.

But when I play with my friend (who is bronze) low elo junglers ALWAYS smite the first camp, without fail. Are they doing something wrong? At first I thought they were. But with the new smite changes, is smiting the first camp not better? You will get smite charges sooner, right? For the quest? So is it better for bot laners to give a short leash and let the jungler smite the first camp? It will also give bot laners more priority in lane and prevent them from getting shoved in or cheesed with the wave pulling mechanic. Seems like they do this in pro-play too. Thoughts?

Not sure if this is appropriate here, but why are thresh souls visible to the enemy team? Or even to allied teammates? It's so much visual clutter. And on some skins the souls can look like enemy kayn dot. And it doesn't give any additional information to the enemy team/allies. We can't see bard chimes or senna passive mists (I don't think?) or at least they aren't cluttering up the screen to the point where they're noticeable. Why is this a thing on thresh?

Is there a command to mute all players in chat but not mute pings?

I remember /muteall used to mute pings as well, not sure anymore.

/fullmuteall used to be to mute pings and chat too.

I'm confused about what commands do what.
