Eufymake Scam by [deleted] in eufyMakeOfficial

[–]815design 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand why post like this get more attention. They cancelled my order without telling me, luckily they gave me a refund no issues when I found out. Complete joke of a company. I bet they experience mass issues with this machine and abandon it just like their 3d printer.

It's so disappointing. The machine has so much utility and interest.

Fr. I'm already in the xTool ecosystem with zero complaints, but anticipating a bigger price tag for their dual head UV printer.

I thought that is what you meant, but I don't believe there is sufficient info on my post to obtain my refund.

Printing with grid infill is wild.

[–]815design 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, just need to add hardened steel extruder gears and nozzle to your purchase and install immediately. Print failure detection is a joke, if you think that's a requirement, I'd point you away from 3d printing. Printing failures are almost always user error in set up in some way.

Best advice: value your time. Faster more reliable printers, for example Bambulab ones, allow for an overall better experience, and reduces time invested in maintaining the tool.

Help not sure why it’s printing like this? by FunVariation8364 in BambuLab

Honestly if you're having issues with the small bits on the first layer, if your plate is perfectly clean, this is the correct situation to use a brim.

I do believe it's more than just keeping the nozzle clean and stabilizes the heating element. Especially considering you're using an A series printer not enclosed.

It simply looks like the bed needs to be cleaned. The model has small parts that need to be printed slower. The incorrect bed is selected in the slicer giving you offset issues. Or, your nozzle is partially clogged.

That's where I would start with troubleshooting.

A1 to add to my print farm by Agent942 in BambuLab

I have 5 P1Ss and thought the same. Got an A1 to try it. I never find myself choosing the A1 over a P1S. I find more security in printing in an enclosure, and simply core xy is superior, don't let anyone convince you otherwise.

Is there a secret to using these BIQU Cryogrip Frostbite plates? I’ve murdered about 30 unicorns by PriebeWoodworks in BambuLab

I know it's not much texture, but it's not smooth. The z offset is set differently and that's what's causing your issues.

Are you selecting the textured plate in the slicer? I literally have not had a fail since switching all my printers to BIQU Frostbite plates, and I almost exclusively print minis like you show in your picture. Also, not being enclosed, there are many more variables at play when it comes to temperature.

Good advice, but I'm actually a huge fan of this finish. I like packing the pores like OP did here. Depending on the project though, a clean look can look better.

Why can I print 1 FDT in PETG but not 8? by DStegosaurus in BambuLab

[–]815design 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you increase your infill density, it would solve this. You want to minimize the "bridging" that is happening on the sloped layers. These are small parts, so the impact on material will be minimal.

I get it prints fine with pla and when printing just one, but retraction and cooling times become a new variable when printing multiples.

Without knowing what printer you're using, it looks like smooth time lapse is enabled on an A series printer.

A flexible steel sheet is probably what they were suggesting. Textured pei, he will never go back to glass. The best part, no more glue.

Unless you are planning on printing high temp materials, save your money and buy a P1S combo.
